You don’t want to miss this opportunity to learn the subtle nuances of the game from Hall of Famers and MLB this November 3-­‐8, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. We’re looking for a select group to be a part of this experience, featuring three days of baseball, including tryouts and team selection, plus an 18-­‐hole golf scramble. Cashman Field, home of the AAA New York Mets, is where our campers will find their very own personalized locker, complete with customized home and away uniforms, bats, balls, a full time clubhouse assistant and trainer, plus all the extras needed to play like the pros do. Our group will be hosted at one of Vegas’ premier resort hotels, Green Valley Ranch, offering participants the hype and excitement of Vegas, within the luxury and elegance of first-­‐class VIP treatment. The Joe Niekro Foundation started by Natalie Niekro, after an unexpected ruptured brain aneurysm suddenly took her father’s life in 2006. The foundation is committed to the awareness and funding for brain aneurysm research, treatment and education. It is estimated that there are currently 6 million people in the US living with an unruptured brain aneurysm. Every 8 minutes an aneurysm ruptures, taking the lives of nearly 50% immediately. Of those remaining, 50% will suffer a delayed death and survivors will likely suffer severe brain deficits. TJNF is determined to help bring awareness to these silent killers and educate the public on the importance of early detection.
