Important information
Access to Fairground is allowed only with a Barcode identifying vehicles and people working inside the
booth. Each Barcode can be printed at home: you have to complete the e-mail we will send and
registering your vehicles and staff members.
For the work permits, when you are in Fairground, you must reach one of the Totem and place your
barcode on its laser reader to obtain the badges.
Access to Fairground of authorized people for booth setting up is limited to those who have and wear their
own work permit, the badge. Each badge must be filled in completely (article 4 Technical Regulations).
Unauthorized people and under 15 children are not allowed to enter the Exhibition areas where setting up
and/or dismantling are in progress.
For vehicles, during their first access, they will be registered at Largo delle Nazioni (Cargo 1); then they
must wait there to be called for reaching the assigned halls.
At Building Est you find a ticket-counter where to register further staff members and vehicles.

On September 6th, the day before the Exhibition opening, all cars which do not carry building
up material, must park in the parking area Largo delle Nazioni.

Rules about vehicle circulating are listed in Article 4.2 Technical Regulations and subject to the Highway
Code. In particular, traffic signs and the 30kph speed limit must be scrupulously observed.
Inside the halls, when permitted by security officers, vehicles may only proceed at walking pace.
It is absolutely forbidden for vehicles to park in front of side roads, fire hydrants, emergency exits, near
crossroads or in front of public emergency services (First Air, Fire Brigade, etc.).
Inside the Fairground, night parking is never allowed, even in case of engine failure. The deadline for
parking is the halls closing time. Failure to observe regulations will imply a charge of € 250,00 + VAT for
each night or part thereof.
During the setting up and breaking down periods, the vehicles parking for loading/unloading activities is
allowed for a maximum of 3 hours. A fare of € 10,00 + VAT for hour or fraction of hour parking exceeding
the three hours. Once the vehicles have beeen emptied, they could be parked in a parking area, located in
Largo delle Nazioni.
Fiera Milano could move the vehicles parking in a not allowed area (article 10.5 of the Technical
Regulations).
We inform that the competent Authorities for Public Security might carry out some checks on vehicles and
goods at the gates when leaving the exhibition center.
On September Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd no thoroughfare outside towns for vehicels heavier than 7,5
tons from 7 a.m. to midnight.
To prevent from air pollution, a traffic hold might be decided in the center or in the outer part of the city. We
suggest a check in the web sites of “Regione Lombardia” (www.ambiente.regione.lombardia.it) for
updated information about the rules.

copy of Technical Regulations. Fiera Milano relating to any logistical and/or safety requirements, while
previously informing all concerned, reserves the right to modify times and procedures of this schedule at
any time.
