In virtually all applications, MATRIKX® Carbon Filters provide superior filtration and adsorption performance
compared to conventional granular activated carbon (GAC) filters.

KX Technologies’ MATRIKX® Extruded Carbon Filters are available in seven standard products, as well as custom
OEM designs. MATRIKX®+Pb1 provides exceptional lead and cyst reduction, which meets the requirements of
NSF Standard 53. MATRIKX®+1 and MATRIKX®+CR1 provide superior chlorine taste and odor reduction, along
with high VOC/TOC removal capacity. MATRIKX®+5 filters are manufactured with coconut shell carbon and provide
excellent chemical reduction, including VOC’s and THM’s. MATRIKX+CTO®/2 and MATRIKX®+10/2 filters are
priced to compete with granular activated carbon (GAC) while providing the superior performance of an extruded
carbon block.
Meeting and Exceeding Your Requirements
MATRIKX® Extruded Carbon Filters are available finished with prefiltration wrap, end caps and gaskets. Because
MATRIKX® filters are produced by continuous extrusion, they can be manufactured to any commercially required
length. A wide range of standard and custom sizes are also available to fit most commercial filter housings.
