Calculate the Removal Constraint : Ready-to-use PLASTIFORM® Kits When making a replica casting, some internal complex forms can make it difficult to remove the impression from the mould : groove, thread, undercuts, internal angle… It is called a Removal Constraint (or backdraft), and is calculated with the following formula : 1- Minimum Dimension of the extraction hole = Removal Constraint % Maximum internal dimension 10 14 11 Dimensional Control by Print Moulding No matter the part you need to control, there is a solution with PLASTIFORM ®. Only for 50 ml Cartridges. Instructions Fits into the Grey Injector, for applications requiring higher precision. Cut off the end to increase the flow. Reusable : wait until the product is cured, then take the nozzle off. Only for fluid products! Initial Consistency : Final Consistency : Final Hardness : Curing Time : Maximum Removal Constraint : Precision of the impression : Degrading temperature : Cut with the Twin Blade Cutter : Fluid Flexible 20 Shore A 8 minutes 30% µm 200°C No 4 REMOVAL RINGS 50gr of PLASTIN Allow to create a handle for an easy removal of the impression. Installation : Fluidest product of the Cartridge Range - Very flexible impression. Recommanded to plug threads or small holes, and to create custom-made seals. Other applications : Dimensional Control of complex forms. B.A.D. The injector is placed on the cartridge, and ensures an homogeneous mix of the two components (mixing ratio 1:1). Before using PLASTIFORM® products: 1. Clean the part, to remove all impurities 2. Use the Surface Cleaner DN1 to eliminate oils and greases. 3. Wait for the DN1 to dry (do not wipe). 2x 50gr of Re-FORM Initial Consistency : Final Consistency : Final Hardness : Curing Time : Maximum Removal Constraint : Precision of the impression : Degrading temperature : Cut with the Twin Blade Cutter : Fluid Semi-Flexible 50 Shore A 8 minutes 10% µm 200°C Yes 1. Place the Cartridge into the Dispensing Gun 2. Remove the cap and attach a Mixing Injector to the front of the Cartridge (a quarter of a turn to the right). 3. Optional for Fluid products : reusable Nozzle Tips are available to pour the compound very precisely into holes, cavities and locations where access is difficult. Cut off the end of the Nozzle to increase the flow. Print Moulding : Leading product of the range - Very versatile. Recommanded for every kind of protection and masking, for creating custom-made seals. Other applications : Dimensional Control of simple or little complex forms. Multi purpose technical clay Malleable when cold Create barriers for fluid products, plug holes, maintain a part… Non greasy - Reusable - Do not dry *1 SURFACE CLEANER DN1 200 ml Multi purpose thermoforming resin Malleable when hot Can be shaped when heated to 60°C. Very hard and resistant at room temperature. Reusable - Machinable P.E.A.D. 2x Initial Consistency : Final Consistency : Final Hardness : Curing Time : Maximum Removal Constraint : Precision of the impression : Degrading temperature : Cut with the Twin Blade Cutter : Fluid Semi-Flexible 65 Shore A 6 minutes 5% µm 200°C Yes Similar to B.A.D. , but more rigid. Recommandé pour des traitements de surface plus agressifs, lorsqu'une certaine rigidité est nécessaire. Autres applications : Contrôle dimensionnel de formes simples. Powerful surface cleaner, validated for PLASTIFORM® products. To be used before each impression to eliminate oils and greases from the part. * Only for European countries ! Environmental Information : PLASTIFORM® products (except Resins) are environmentally friendly, non toxic and non polluting. They can be handled with no specific precautions. The impressions can be disposed with regular waste. 1. Put aside the first sample of product that comes out of the Injector. It will be used as a sample test which will indicate when the product is cured. 2. Inject the compound into the part, and care that the injector remains immersed in the product. Slowly mix as you pour, and be careful not to create air bubles. 3. Put a Removal Ring or Plastin around the extraction hole (to create a handle), and continue filling the part completely. 4. When the PLASTIFORM® is cured, take off the Removal Ring (or Plastin), and remove the impression without unscrewing ! After using PLASTIFORM® : 1. Once the product is cured, remove the Nozzle Tip. It can be re-used. 2. Remove the Mixing Injector and throw it with your regular waste. 3. Replace the cap on the Cartridge. You can keep and reuse the cartridge for at least 2 years.
