New TOLL ROAD, See Driving Options Below!!!
If you like to drive and see San Jose, use this option:
Take the toll road – 31pesos – you can pay by credit card if you don’t have any cash.
• Turn left. 193 ft/
• Turn right. 0.1 mi/ towards Cabo San Lucas
• Take ramp onto MEX-1 toward San José del Cabo/Cabo San Lucas.
• For 6 miles, stay on the toll road, than you come to San Jose
(Mega Store right in front of you)
• In San Jose turn RIGHT to Cabo San Lucas for 22 miles
• Stay on the road it now called ‘Boulevard Lazaro Cardenas’
• Turn left onto Calle Cabo San Lucas – Santander Bank is to your right when you
turn.
• You will see to your right a big yellow shop and next the Mi Casa Restaurant,
• Stay on the RIGHT side of the street.
• 20 feet after Mi Casa Restaurant turn right.
• Into a small street, here we are, you will see a big iron gate at our Portofino sign.

If you like to drive direct and BY PASS San Jose, use this option:
Take the toll road – 65 pesos – you can pay by credit card if you don’t have any cash.
• Turn left. 193 ft/
• Turn right. 0.1 mi/ towards Cabo San Lucas
• Enter Toll station and get your ticket
• Stay on toll road for 30 km, until you see sign to Cabo San Lucas turn right, drive
to toll station and pay in cash or credit card, leaving toll station and:
+++ Entering Cabo San Lucas turn left at first set of lights and immediately turn left
again (be careful - watch traffic here) stay on to the right side, you will drive by
Office Depot (you will see it on your right) next set up traffic lights turn right and

We have made a list of places I like in Cabo hope this help make your trip a great one.
Please see a list below of places to eat.

El Corral- Great place about a 5 min walk down the street from Los Barillas which is
about a 2 min walk away, they have a great breakfast and great dinner specials.
Baja Cantina – Is located on the marina it is the restaurant with all the pictures of
boats on the walls they have great wings and if you sit on the lounge side they
have great app’y specials.
•
There are several great restaurants just in minute walking distance, Andrea and her
staff will assist you. Cabo is a culinary heaven for every taste and any price.
Starting anywhere from $ 10.00.
•
Solomon’s Landing – Is also located on the marina and has good sushi and lots of
other local dishes.
•
Alexander’s- Is also located on the Marina and is more fine dining but great food
they even do table side Caesar salad.
•
Thursday, Friday & Saturday, try the ROADHOUSE…live entertainment, great dinner
& glass of wine for 10 dollars.
Around Cabo
•
BarsGiggling Marlin- Is a fun places around 8pm they do a show involving people from the audience it’s of
adult nature Cabo Wabo- Is the famous bar started by Sammy Hagar from Van Halen.
•
Boat TripsI would recommend taking a glass bottom boat over to lovers beach it’s a great place to hang out for the
day or just part of the day, you pay your taxi boat for a round trip so you just need to let them know when
you would like to be picked up.
•
There is also lots of great night boat trips that include dinner and drinks some are more of a party boat
and some are more fine dining, I went on the pirate ship one last time it was great a little more money but
a great experience . The fiesta trip is one of the cheapest ones but it is also more of a party boat but there
is guest of all ages on the boat the last time I went I paid $35 and includes diner and drinks.
Shopping
•
There is lots of places to shop by the marina there is a huge market where you will find everything just
make sure to carry small bills as you will be able to negotiate with the price, then on every street there is
shopping. On Saturday the resort takes the guests to Wall Mart this is a great place to pick up your
groceries for the week.
•
For more information you can ask any of the front desk staff and they will be happy to give you there
recommendation , I also recommend getting about $25 to $100 dollars in American one dollar bills from
your bank before you leave they are great to have on hand for tips for example they will help you off the
boat at lovers beach and it’s nice to give each of them a dollar or two just don’t let them see how much
you have.
