Where Flying Is Fun! Ground School Starts! Red Sky Aviation, LLC, is proud to announce it now offers Aviation Ground School! Instructor Mark Heidenreich will offer an eight-‐week course to prepare students for the FAA Written Exam. Successful completion of this ground school will prepare students to pass the examination required for issuance of a Private Pilot’s License. The class meets once a week, currently Thursday evenings from 6-‐8 p.m. Red Sky will offer additional ground school classes at the completion of this first session. If you, or a friend, are interested in taking Ground School, please notify our office soon! We would like to schedule the class to meet YOUR needs, so letting us know days and times that work for you will help us set up the next class. We offer the student publication, Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge for sale. You are welcome to purchase this book ahead of time and spend a little prep time before your class sessions start. Rumor has it, delicious homemade cookies are offered at most class sessions, thanks to Red Sky’s Laura Haley! Please talk with any of our instructors or Bob about the class and other FAA requirements to complete your Private Pilot’s License or Sport Pilot’s License! We suggest you complete ground school, then take and pass your written test around 20 hours of flying time so that you are ready to take your check ride on schedule. Welcome to the

our fleet!
Red Sky Aviation welcomes the newest member of our Fleet – a 1948 Cessna 140, N2394V. Featuring an 85hp Continental engine, King radio and transponder, nav lights, and self-‐
starter, she seats two lucky fliers! Not to mention her lovely calming green and grey paint scheme, quite restful on the eye. Call today to schedule your check ride and prepare to have fun with this special lady! Aeronca Champ 7AC -‐ Progress Report Our Champ is progressing nicely! Wings, tail and fuselage are covered; wings and tail are painted; fuselage is in paint prep. Engine and propeller are majored. Interior is going in. Drop by the hangar to watch Sam Haley, master aviation craftsman, work on this classic aircraft. One lucky student, Ken Twain, has been taking classes from Bob and Sam on how these classic tube and fabric airplanes are built. Wouldn’t you like to learn more? We hope to have our Champ back flying by the end of June.
