ITINERARY
Day 1 Tuesday 31st January 2017
Your golf tour of a lifetime commences.
Tonight, we will take a cruise on the Dubai Creek giving everyone
in the group the opportunity to meet and socialise on your first
night. While we take in the sights from our cruising dinner vessel,
you will enjoy a sumptuous meal including all drinks, plus live on
board entertainment and a special dinner guest.
Day 2 Wednesday 1st February 2017
This morning, you will be transferred to your first round of the
week at the magnificent Jumeirah Golf estates. Jumeirah Golf
Estates is arguably one of the world’s most prestigious golf
developments with the Earth and Fire Championship courses
designed by Australia’s own Greg Norman. At the completion of
your mornings activities, you will have some time back at the
hotel before heading out in the afternoon on your city tour. Take
in all the sights of Dubai, including Dubai Marina, the amazing
seven star Burj Al Arab hotel, the incredible Jumeirah Palm
development, and the worlds tallest building - BurjKhalifa,
including the amazing fountain and light show.
Day 3 Thursday 2nd February 2017
Your second round of golf is at the fabulous Dubai Creek golf &
Yacht Club. The manicured fairways are lined with date and palm
trees, as well as plenty of water. Apart from the creek itself, there
are several artificial lakes that add to the challenge, as well as
the beauty of this immaculate layout.
This afternoon sees the first round of the Dubai Desert Classic at
Stunning Emirates Golf Club. Come and see the worlds best
players battle it out for a share of some serius prizemoney.
For those not heading to the course today. Treat yourself like
royalty and shop ‘till you drop in search of that perfect accessory
or gift. This afternoon is again yours to enjoy as you wish.
Day 4 Friday 3rd February 2017
Day 4 sees the second round of the Dubai Desert Classic at the
Prestigious Emirates Golf Club.
Later this afternoon, you will embark on an Arabian Adventure
with your desert safari. Your expert driver will pick you up at the
hotel in a modern four wheel drive for the trip out to the desert
where they will showcase their driving talents as they take on the
sand dunes to see the beauty of the desert landscape. After
plenty of photo opportunities, you will arrive at a traditional camp
where you will be entertained with traditional dancers and camel
rides before feasting on a sumptuous meal.
Day 5 Saturday 4th February 2017
It is time for round 3. Play your 3rd round of golf at The
Montgomerie. Designed by Colin Montgomerie in association with
Desmond Muirhead. The course covers 265 acres which consist of
123 acres of turf, 49 acres of man-made lakes (a total of 14
lakes), 93 acres of landscaped gardens and is scattered with 81
large bunkers. The course provides the player with undulating
"links land" style fairways with generous landing areas which
challenge and intrigue all levels of player. Although large in size,
the greens can be very misleading, especially as they are
consistently rolling above 9.5 feet. Plenty of shape throughout
the greens can result in some very trying putts.
Now back to the magnificent Emirates Golf Club for round 3 of the
Dubai Desert Classic.
Day 6 Sunday 5th February 2017
This is our final day of the tour, and it’s time to party. First we will
catch the final round of The Dubai Desert Classic.
Now it’s time to let your hair down and celebrate an amazing
experience with new friends and old at our final night party.
Day 7 Monday6th February 2017
Tour Concludes.
Today is your last day in Dubai and the end of a fabulous
week. With most international flights leaving late in the
evening, you will have all day to enjoy Dubai prior to your
flight. Of course there is always the option to stay on and
take in more of Dubai or the rest of the region, and
Sportslink international can take care of all your
additional travel arrangements.
