Proceeds from the Gear Up Green Lake Fundraiser
Bike Ride will support Green Lake Greenways, Inc., a
non-profit volunteer citizen’s advocacy organization
that leads the way for the first multi-use path in
Green Lake County. The main goal of this project is to
connect the communities of Green Lake, Ripon and
Berlin with safe, multi-use paths.

opportunities for people throughout the Green Lake

Riders of all ages and skill levels can look forward to
quiet and scenic routes of 14 to 100 miles in length.
These routes are on low traffic, paved roads with
moderate hills and rolling countryside throughout
the beautiful Green Lake area.

• 7 - 9 AM: Check-in and day-of registration at
Heidel House Resort & Spa tent. At this time you
will receive a map of the bike routes.
• 7 AM - 3 PM: Enjoy the ride! Rest stations are
available along each route for your convenience.
• 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM: Stop back at the tent for a
Taste of Wisconsin lunch and live music by a
favorite local duo, Dan Braaksma Band.
• 7 PM: The fun continues into the evening with
live music by Oshkosh, Wis., classic rock cover
band, Kitty Corona.
Please note the SAG support ends at 3:00 p.m. We
recommend all riders on the 100 mile route start no later
than 8:00 a.m. Event will be held rain or shine. Sorry,
no refunds are available. Those under age 16 must be
accompanied by an adult. We ask that all participants
abide by the law and please wear a helmet.

A day of memories and supporting a great cause
await riders at the 6th annual Gear Up Green Lake
fundraiser bike ride. Previously held in downtown
Green Lake, the 2015 event will be amplified by
hospitality from Heidel House Resort & Spa.
ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:
• Map with well-marked bike routes
• Rest stops with refreshments and restrooms
provided by area sponsors
• SAG support
• Taste of Wisconsin lunch reception with live
entertainment provided by Heidel House Resort
• Shower facilities
• T-shirts guaranteed for all registered participants
before May 1, 2015
Green Lake is an easy-to-reach getaway from
Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison and the Fox Valley.
We’re within 90 minutes of Madison, Green Bay and
Milwaukee, and about 3 hours from Chicago.

In consideration of being accepted as a participant in the
Green Lake Greenways Inc. bike ride, I, myself, my heirs and
administrators hereby release and forever hold harmless
Green Lake Greenways, Inc., Green Lake Venture, Inc. and its
affiliates, sponsors, volunteers and any municipality through
which ride and their respective agents and employees
from any and all claims and demand, injuries or damages
of any kind, anticipated or unanticipated which any of
the undersigned or their bicycles may suffer as a result of
participating in the 6th Annual Gear Up Green Lake event.
I also give my permission to use photographs or any other
record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I also agree
to wear a helmet on this ride, follow all reasonable safety
precautions and rules of the road.
