Nestled in historic downtown Richmond, Sandy McGee’s offers both a great atmosphere and delicious food. Marked as Sandy’s favorite entrée salad, Mr. B’s is touted as the best, and we agree. Take your pick between creamy chicken salad or grilled chicken to top the fresh bed of spinach leaves. Toss in some avocado and Max’s signature honey mustard vinaigrette dressing, and your taste buds will thank you. Along with your salad, we recommend trying the award-winning broccoli cheese soup. Amazing! Perhaps you’re headed out with friends after a hot day in the sun, and seeking a cool beverage and quick bite. Look no further than BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. They have an entire list of specialty salads, like the grilled steak salad. Grilled, marinated skirt steak and oven-roasted potatoes make this a filling selection. It’s topped off with blue cheese crumbles, roasted yellow squash, red onion, zucchini, red pepper, tomato, and hard-boiled egg wedges, and tossed with balsamic vinaigrette.
