The Farm:
Mrs. Just’s Kindergarten class has been studying about life on the farm and they took a field trip to
Mainstay Farm where they saw the animals and the buildings, enjoyed a marshmallow roast, and romped in the hay.
Above are Carlina L., Tati Y., Emma F., Thando K. (1st grader) and Sunika T-J. This week they studied scarecrows and
came dressed as scarecrows. Jake A. and Lauren H. won best-looking scarecrow of all the Kindergarten scarecrows.
On October 12 we ended
our first nine-weeks grading period. It appears that
our students have really
applied themselves to
their studies and we are
proud of them.

8 A.M. Begin 80 mile bicycle tour to Glen Rose for
experienced Bikers
8:10 A.M. Begin 9 mile loop on county roads for bikers
with less experience.
8:30 A.M. 0.7 mile bicycle route for young bikers and
their families
8:20 A.M. Walking routes will be handed out Sunday
morning for family and friends

STARFEST
October 31, 6-9 P.M.
No door-to-door trick or treating in Keene this year but
you can come to the Police and Fire Complex and enjoy a
hayride, football throw, train ride, basket ball throw, paint
balls, skeeball table, air hockey table, prizes and more.
There will also be numerous vendors on site to sell delicious food to eat. So come dressed in a costume (if you
wish), bring money for food, games and lots of fun with
your friends are free. Have a safe holiday.
