BUSINESS STRUCTURE
In the first half of 2014, Sinotrans adjusted its internal management
structure, disposed of a very substantial portion of its domestic and
international marine transportation operations, and reorganized
operations as described below:
• Separated customized and professional integrated logistic services
from the “freight forwarding” segment and established a new
“logistics” segment
• Combined the “shipping agency” into the “freight forwarding”
segment
• Renamed “marine transportation” as “shipping operation” and
combined it into the “other services” segment
Freight Forwarding
As the largest freight forwarding
company in China, Sinotrans provides
sea freight forwarding, air freight
forwarding, railway and road freight
forwarding services to customers, as
well as shipping agency services to
shipping companies.

leased)
a
comprehensive
infrastructures
network
throughout
major ports and cities in China. The
network includes 494 warehouses with
total area of 2.89 million square meters;
56 container yards with total area of 2.30
million square meters and 6 self-owned
terminals.
Other Services
Sinotrans provides short and medium distance
container consignment services between ports and
cities, as well as city-to-city and cross-border
trucking transportation.
Sinotrans provides barges transport services along
the Yangtze river and Pearl river.
It also provides express services through express
lines as well as joint ventures and cooperative
arrangements with leading international express
companies.
