Best of all, each guest can enjoy free use of as many of our leisure facilities that they like during their stay. Swi m mi n g Tregenna has a choice of swimming pools. The heated outdoor pool gives fantastic views over St Ives Bay and Gwithian Towans and is open from May to September (weather dependent). The indoor pool is an oasis of warmth, situated in a sub-tropical conservatory. Both pools feature a dedicated children’s swimming area. Ba lls po rt s Tregenna provides a range of ballsports courts so that families can enjoy games of squash, badminton and tennis. There is also a croquet lawn for a more gentle, although equally as competitive option! F it n e ss Su it e Our fitness suite has a comprehensive set of cross training equipment. Staff are on hand to conduct inductions and answer any health and fitness related queries. Tregenna is a brilliant place for children. Castle Kids, our childcare facility, runs a varied programme of entertaining activities that our younger guests love. Catering from new born babies to children aged 10, there are stimulating activities geared towards each age group that include arts, crafts, sports and cooking. Young guests attending Castle Kids also benefit from the supervised use of the two onsite swimming pools, not to mention the subtropical gardens, adventure playground and vast open spaces the grounds provide. Castle Kids is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Fre e Fu n! On every weekday of the school holidays we provide at least two free activities for younger guests. These are tremendously popular with parents and children alike. A typical week’s free activities feature: Falconry displays, Zumba class, Camp fire building, Cake decoration, 5-a-side football shoot out, Arts and crafts, Volleyball, Movie and popcorn, Putting competition... all absolutely free! The putting green offers a good selection of different scenarios for all to improve their techniques and equipment can be hired from the golf shop. £15 per person per round. Mirror, Mirror Castle Beauty offers a wide range of facials and wonderfully luxurious body treatments including hot stones therapy and holistic massages. The suite of beauty rooms sets the perfect tone for relaxation, and also has a nail bar and a sun shower. We also have an onsite hair stylist. Individual prices apply. Recognising that dining with children can sometimes be stressful, we offer a relaxed family dining experience throughout the school holidays. Since our younger guests’ excitement can bubble over for their holiday, we provide wipe down tablecloths and hassle free cutlery pots. We also have a play area in the restaurant to keep little ones occupied before meals arrive. We want families to eat in comfort so there is no need to get dressed up for dinner. All are welcome whether fresh from the beach or a walk – just as they are. Our earlier dining times during the school holidays mean that families can eat when it suits them. T h e B ra s s e ri e The Brasserie’s popular menu makes the most of the delicious fresh produce that Cornwall is famed for. Fish landed the same day, local meats full of flavour and the best vegetables from the surrounding area create delicious dishes from around the world.
