Enrolling in a UTI program UTI’s team supports students and their families at every step of the enrollment process. To enroll, students should: Contact an Admissions Representative. He or she will work with students and parents to select a program and campus as well as complete the enrollment documents. $15 Apply for scholarships at www.uti.edu/scholarships.* Affording UTI Within 14 days of enrollment, contact our Financial Aid Department to apply for aid.* For the student who isn’t interested in college or wants a different kind of career, a quality technical education can be a great investment. At UTI, we’re committed to making our programs accessible and affordable: Upon graduation, submit a copy of a high school diploma or GED.** Tuition covers all classes, labs, books and materials. Costs vary depending on the type of program. To learn more about the cost of our programs, ask your UTI Admissions Representative to walk you through our tuition estimator. Tour the campus they plan to attend so they become familiar with the facility and meet their instructors. In this year alone, we will make more than $15 million in scholarships available to students who qualify.1 Work with UTI’s housing services to complete living arrangements. To help attract and retain the best technicians, many employers are offering incentive packages to UTI graduates in addition to standard wage and benefit packages. Some employers even help students pay back their loans after graduation.2 Save living expense money to start school. ($1,500 to $2,000 recommended if relocating) Financial aid packages are available to those who qualify. Core technician training programs can be completed in about a year,3 getting students into the workforce and earning a living quickly. Field trips and campus tours High School and University Articulation High school programs accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) can articulate with Universal Technical Institute, which means your students have the opportunity to earn advanced placement or tuition discounts in UTI’s auto and diesel programs. UTI also has articulation agreements with a select group of 4-year universities.
