BITSY GRANT TENNIS
CENTER DIRECTORS
David Drew - David, co-founder of Universal
Tennis Academy, is a former ATP Touring
Professional. He has a bachelors and masters
degrees from Vanderbilt University. David has
coached numerous touring professionals as well
as top-ranked national juniors.
He was the
Georgia Junior Coach of the Year in 2000. David

Tim Noonan - Tim, a co-founder of Universal
Tennis Academy, is a former coach of World
Team Tennis’ Atlanta Thunder. He is a USPTA
certified professional (P1 Rating) and former
captain of the Notre Dame tennis team. Tim has
coached numerous nationally ranked juniors, and
also enjoys teaching doubles to both juniors and

ACADEMY POLICIES
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
All students participating at the 10 & Under HP
Group level & above are required to pay an annual
administrative fee of
$150 (billed in January).
Students will receive a UTA/Nike shirt and a
specialized notebook to organize tennis notes,
lessons, tournaments, etc.
For seniors in high
school & families with multiple children the fee is
$50 for each additional child.
UTA TOURNAMENTS
Drill prices include coaching and all coaching
expenses at many USTA tournaments throughout
the year.

MAKE-UP POLICY
If drills are cancelled due to inclement weather,
students may attend their regular drill group on a
day that they don’t normally attend within that
month. To receive rained out information, go to
www.utatennis.com and click on the Partly Cloudy
sign underneath “Court Status Updates”. Then
follow the 3 step process.
PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL
We require a 30 day written notice for withdrawal
from the program. In the absence of a 30 day
notice, a monthly drill charge will be assessed.

Champions and All-Americans, and
National Junior Gold Ball Winners. We
have sent over 200 juniors to compete at
the Collegiate Level.

Southern or National Rankings. These
players expect to play college tennis.
