Five Ten is excited to introduce the Canyoneer 3!
In canyoneering, where static friction is life and
sliding friction certain death, Canyoneers™ with
their Stealth outsoles have become the sport’s gold
standard.
The new Canyoneer 3 is developed with the most
rigorous R&D process Five Ten has ever
undertaken. In fact this model reflects over 15
years of ongoing shoe engineering and athlete
feedback.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & TECHNOLOGIES
Canyoning is incredibly tough on shoes, and,
historically, the point of failure is the rand/toe
intersection.
We’ve solved that problem because with our
innovative welding technique we marry the mesh
upper with the rubber rand so that they become
one.
Further highlights are hydrophobic materials that
won’t uptake water and are impermeable to sand.
The bonded TPU heel cup reduces seams and
increases durability and support. The most
progressive choice of materials is our new
waterproof insole board that offers a new level of
comfort and durability.
Stealth S1 rubber guarantees sure-footed traction
in amphibious conditions.

The new Canyoneer retains the burly stability and protection of its predecessor but
adds the following to its quiver:

Welded rubber rands which interlock with the mesh upper eliminating any chance of
delamination

Asymmetric fast lace system for easy adjustability in col wet condition

Improved mud release

Increased lug height for better penetration on soft ground
•
Mesh lace pocket to tuck away and protect tied laces
•
Reduced upper seams for improved durability
•
TPU heel cup reduces the foot print of the heel but retains the torsional stiffness and
support

Solid EVA in the midfoot provide midsole protection and support for the arch for more
comfort during long approaches and climbs

Flexible ankle cuff that provides support without compromising range-of-motion
