Bishoff Company is Pioneering the Micro Data Center Concept as well as Enterprise Data Centers Old School Caged Space: OLD SCHOOL VS. NEUTRAL MICRO DATA CENTERS Currently, this is nothing more than a “Gotcha Game” where you lease square footage out in someone else’s data center. Under this program, YOU have an obligation to use THEIR network, pay THEM for cross connects, utilize THEIR managed services and sometimes even pay THEM to come and go from YOUR data center. The costs add up and you have NO control. Neutral Micro Data Centers: Commonly referred to as “Caged Space”, the old school way of delivering this space has now been turned on its head through The E.V. Corporate Services 6 Legal War Rooms Many of our Corporate Neighbors within the legal industry enjoy our ability to provide them a war room, especially when they have a need for space and can spread out and house files that will not be interrupted. For those in the legal industry, having a war room equipped with desks, internet, telephones and white boards, as well as being secured and off-site can be an enormous advantage. File Rooms Off site file storage is both expensive and inconvenient. Often times service providers charge by the box and for each time the box is touched. A more efficient way to handle corporate file storage is to simply lease a file room from E.V. Bishoff Co. Our file room space is secured, monitored, accesible, 24/7/365 and under your control for a fraction of the cost of your current file storage service provider. Corporate Services 7 CASE STUDIES Case Studies Client: A large health care provider in Pittsburgh Need: A large lawsuit was filed against the Client requiring the need for approximately 7500 sq. ft. of dedicated space for litigation preparation in the studying of evidence. For confidentiality reasons, the preference was not to have the space in the Corporate HQ. Solution: E.V. Bishoff Company not only provided the space, but provided the appropriate anonymity, security and locking mechanisms on the space that made it compliant with Client Corporate standards of safety and security. Term: Though it was thought to be a short term need, the need existed for approx. seven (7) years. Throughout the years it was recognized that given the nature of the litigation, it was important that the client had the ability to terminate at any time, which the client needed and was provided. Client: National Banking Institution Need: It was identified that a number of Corporate functions were not only, not required to be in the expensive Headquarters space, but it was identified that there was a strong preference that some of the Corporate needs were located outside of the Corporate Headquarters. Functions such as: Employee Dispute Counseling, office space for outside contractors, and federal regulators to name a few. Solution: E.V. Bishoff Company provided nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of office space, along with the ability to stage and restage the space, virtually at any time to satisfy the ever-changing needs of the Bank. Term Eight (8) years. Case Studies 9 Case Studies Client: National Insurance Company Need: Management issued a contract with an outside consulting firm that required the insurance company to provide 11,000 sq. ft. of office space during the term of the consulting agreement. This obligation came as a surprise to the Facilities Department who wasn’t aware of this requirement and didn’t have the needed space. A call was made to E.V. Bishoff Company on a Wednesday and the management consulting firm moved in 48 hours later. Term: Two (2) years. Client: A region utility company. Need: The utility company chose to enter into the business of providing dark fiber. In doing so, a data center was needed that not only contained the highest level of security, but also the needed infrastructure and redundancy to support ongoing operations. Solution: As opposed to spending their own capital, the utility company turned to E.V. Bishoff Company, who housed their entire data center operation in one of our data centers at a fraction of the cost of developing their own data center. Term: 15 Years, ongoing Case Studies 10 Case Studies Client: International Consulting Firm Need: A contract was executed by the international consulting firm with a large client in a city in which E.V. Bishoff Company had investments. Immediate fully furnished and functional office space was required. However, depending upon the success of the contract, a maximum amount of flexibility needed to be maintained to allow for the rapid expansion of the local office. Solution: E.V. Bishoff Company placed their corporate need in our Superior Office Suites, which provides all office requirements including furniture, telephones, bandwidth and access to all necessary equipment, conference rooms and use of kitchens. As success became apparent, the needs increased and we were able to provide the additional space required at the time the requirement became understood. Term: Five (5) years, ongoing Client: International Computer Company Need: An international computer company was in immediate need of supplying parking to over 225 employees in the downtown Cleveland area. Their need was to have electronic card key activated parking within a small walk to their offices for all of their employees that was safe, reliable, electronic and available 24/7. Solution: E.V. Bishoff Company crafted an electronic card key parking pass program at the Hamilton Garage to meet the computer company’s exact specifications. Not only did E.V. Bishoff company provide all 225 employees with parking that was steps to their corporate office but we did so in approximately 30 days after notification of the need.
