Generously sized chair for luxury cinemas
A modular seat, that consists of fully interchangeable elements, and which has
been designed for cinemas.
The seat and backrest are each composed of a block of moulded polyurethane
foam with an internal metal structure. The upholstery is joined to the foam
using the Integral Form system, without seams or stitching.
A TS System fire barrier can be incorporated between the foam and the
upholstery in both the seat and backrest, preventing fire from reaching the
foam and delaying the spreading of flames and emission of toxic gases.
The backrest padding has an anatomical shape and incorporates vertical and
horizontal grooves. The seat padding is anatomically shaped and smooth
without any channels or grooves, in order to avoid dirt accumulation. The seat
and backrest are protected by fully washable polypropylene shells that protect
the rear of the upholstery.
The seat tips up automatically due to an extremely quiet double spring system
inside the seat shell (tested to 500,000 cycles) that requires no lubrication of
any kind.
Each chair is mounted on two metal pedestals incorporating a ball-andsocket joint system - including a locking mechanism - into which the seat
pin fits. This enables easy seat replacement without having to dismantle the
seat. The pedestals are made of steel tubing, and finished in black or grey
epoxy paint.
They are fixed to the floor by means of expansion plugs. The chair adapts
to the specific slope of the floor at its base. Rows are formed by
interconnected backrests and this provides totally rigid and stable rows,
reinforcing the anchorage to the floor.
The armrests are made of semi-rigid polyurethane foam, with an inner
metal structure. They incorporate a single, compact built-in cup holder. The
end of row seats are upholstered. The seat has rear perforations which
allow adequate acoustic absorption when the seat is tipped up and out of
use.
The backrest can have a decorative rear upholstered section. The seat can
be fully upholstered without losing acoustic properties.
The backrest can incorporate a headrest, with padding made in Integral
Form and a protective shell. The backrest can also have an upholstered
section at the top.

without any channels or grooves, in order to avoid dirt accumulation.
The seat and backrest are protected by fully washable polypropylene shells that
protect the rear of the upholstery.
Each chair is mounted on a central pedestal joined to an internal bridge
interconnecting the different seats and allowing fully rigid and stable rows. The
end of each row is upholstered. The seats are fixed to the floor by means of
expansion plugs. The seat adapts to the specific slope of the floor at its base.
The armrests are of double width in order to comfortably accommodate the
arms of two occupants at the same time. They have an inner metallic structure
covered with semi rigid polyurethane foam. Optionally, they can incorporate a
cup holder with the same structural characteristics as the armrest and which is
perfectly integrated in it forming a single piece.

Ergonomic fixed cinema seat
A seat designed for use in theatres, conference rooms and auditoriums. It
has a special folding system providing great comfort and ease of movement
between rows. It is a beam-mounted foldaway seat. The seat, backrest and
armrest tip up automatically in one single movement.
When the seat and backrest fold, the armrest rotates, adopting an upright
position so that it does not exceed a width of 20cm. The movement
sequence described occurs automatically whenever the seat is vacated.
The seat, backrest and armrest assembly is supported by painted cast
aluminum side frames. The seat and backrest pivot on maintenance-free
polyamide bearings. The side frames supporting the seat and backrest are
joined to a rectangular steel tube structure. The armrests are made of solid
varnished beech wood.
The lower part of the structure is attached to the pedestal, which is
constructed of steel tubing and connected to a circular steel plate attached
to the floor using metal expansion plugs. The structures are available in 2, 3
and 4 seat modules and are painted. Curved rows may be formed by joining
the modules each at a slight angle from the last.
The folding mechanism relies on gravity achieving high durability and
minimum maintenance. At the bottom, the sides are fastened to the tubular
pedestal structure. The seat is made up of a compact block of open-cell
polyurethane foam, which is completely upholstered and can be easily
changed. This block is attached to a 13mm varnished beech plywood board
that protects the back part. The minimum seat thickness is 11cm. The
backrest has the same characteristics as the seat and its minimum thickness
is 9 cm.
A TS System fire barrier can be incorporated between the foam and the
upholstery in both the seat and backrest, preventing fire from reaching the
foam and delaying the spreading of flames and emission of toxic gases. Also,
the varnish on all wooden pieces can incorporate afire resistant treatment.
A Helmoltz-type resonator can be incorporated to improve the acoustic
absorption capacity of the seat.
Together with table F-45 or table F-1000, it becomes an optimal solution for
long work sessions and conferences.

Cinema chairs with automatic folding seat
The seat is mounted on two metal pedestals incorporating a ball-and-socket
joint system - including a locking mechanism - into which the seat pin fits. This
enables the seat to be easily replaced without dismantling the whole
structure. The pedestals are made of a tubular steel structure finished in
powder paint.
The seat is fixed to the floor by means of expansion plugs, and adapts to the
specific slope of the hall at its base. Rows are formed by interconnected
backrests allowing fully rigid and stable row formation, reinforcing the
attachment to the floor.
The armrests are made of polyurethane foam with an internal metal
structure. The ends of the row are upholstered. The seat has rear perforations
which provide adequate acoustic absorption when the seat is tipped up and
out of use. The top rear part of the backrest can incorporate an upholstered
headrest extension. Both the seat and backrest can be fully upholstered,
without losing any acoustic properties.
A modular seat, consisting of fully interchangeable elements. The seat and
backrest consist of two blocks of moulded polyurethane foam which have
an internal metal structure. The upholstery is fully integrated in the foam
by means of the Integral Form system, without seams or stitching. This
system guarantees accurate replacements if they are needed.
A TS System fire barrier can be incorporated between the foam and the
upholstery in both the seat and backrest, preventing fire from reaching the
foam and delaying the spreading of flames and emission of toxic gases.
The backrest padding is anatomically contoured with lumbar support and a
headrest incorporating vertical and horizontal fluting in the headrest. The
seat padding is also anatomically shaped, but is completely plain, without
any channels or fluting, to keep out the dirt. Both the seat and backrest are
protected by fully washable material covers, protecting the rear upholstery.
The seat tips up automatically due to an extremely quiet double spring system
inside the seat shell (tested to 500,000 cycles) that requires no lubrication of
any kind.

Cinema seat with excellent acoustic performance
A spacious modular chair with fully interchangeable components. The seat and
backrest are each composed of a block of moulded polyurethane foam with an
internal metal structure. The upholstery is joined to the foam using the
Integral Form system, without seams or stitching. The Integral Form system
guarantees accuracy if a replacement is required.
The backrest and seat are protected by polypropylene shells which are
completely washable and protect the rear part of the upholstery.
Each chair is mounted on two metal pedestals that incorporate a system for
housing a ball and socket joint (with locking mechanism) that is connected to
the axis of the seat and allows the seat to be changed easily without
disassembling it.
A TS System fire curtain can be incorporated between the foam and
upholstery on both the seat and the backrest in order to prevent fire from
reaching the foam and delay the spreading of flames and emission of toxic
gases.
The pedestals are made of tubular steel finished in black or grey polyester
paint. The chairs are fixed to the floor surface using expansion plugs. The seat
adapts to the specific slope of the room through the base of the pedestal.
Rows are formed by means of interconnected backrests ensuring rigid and
stable row formation, reinforcing the attachment to the floor.
The chair arms are made of semi-rigid polyurethane foam with an internal
metal structure. They are compact in form and consist of a single piece with a
built-in cup holder. Optionally, the upper rear face of the backrest can
incorporate an upholstered section and the seat can be fully upholstered.
The backrest padding is anatomically contoured, incorporating vertical and
horizontal grooves. The seat padding has a smooth anatomical form and is free
of grooves of any type in order to prevent the accumulation of dirt.
The seat tips up automatically owing to an extremely quiet double spring
system inside the seat shell (tested to 500,000 cycles) requiring no lubrication
of any kind.
The backrest can also be made with HR. This type of backrest features a
headrest that is integrated into the backrest. In other words, it is not an addon, but is actually an integral part of the backrest. This headrest system has a
clear ergonomic advantage, as it is a natural extension of the backrest, not a
separate item that is added on to it
