Here you will find everything you need to embark on a truly memorable road trip through Europe with your motorhome or campervan. Below is our selected route throughout England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France: Remember, this pack is just a guide; you can always amend your journey to include other destinations! 3 Here we have listed some of the highlights at each stop on our Autumn Road Trip adventure as well as some places where you can stay for the night! Berlin First up on our Autumn Road Trip tour of Europe we are stopping in Berlin! For us, the first must see attraction is the Reichstag Building where you can soak in the amazing architecture of Berlin. After this why not walk the Ringbahn for a once in a lifetime view of the city? If you fancy something a bit more relaxing then make sure you don’t miss the Badeschiff Floating Swimming Pool, or you can try one of Berlin’s famous breweries such as Brauhaus Lemke, Kindl-Schultheiss and Bauhaus Sudstern. Prost! (Cheers!) Munich Our second stop in Germany takes us to Munich. Again, there are some great sites to visit here including West Park, Nymphenburg Palace and the English Garden. If you are an animal lover then make sure you take the time to visit Munich Zoo – the first ever Geo-zoo in the world! If you go at the right time of year you might be able to stop in Zell am See in Tirol and do some skiing. Don’t worry if you are going to Austria outside of the ski season however, as there is still plenty to see and do! For example, you can visit the Hohe Tauerm National Park or take a picturesque walk in one of Austria’s areas of natural beauty. Those that are looking for a bit more of an adventure should try white water river rafting, or even trek the Alps! Austria is perfect for both adventurers and those looking for a welldeserved rest, and the natural beauty is second to none! No European trip is complete without going to Italy, and in our Autumn Road Trip we have chosen to stop in Verona. Here you can take a walk around the city stopping at Juliet’s balcony or visit the Roman Theatre. For those who are a little more adventurous you could take a Segway tour of the city or visit the famous Piazza Bra where there’s a range of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from! 4 Spain is full of hidden treasures, especially in Barcelona, which is why it is stop number four on our European road trip. Once here you can wander around some of the oldest flea markets in Europe as well as visit the range of cultural attractions. You are bound to notice the quirky buildings dotted around the city as it is where Gaudi created his famous architecture. If you are the cultural type make sure you take a tour to see some of Gaudi’s most famous works and how the artist came up with his designs. After days of sight-seeing we are pretty sure you would like some time to relax in your motorhome, and Bordeaux in France is the perfect place. Naturally, when you go to France one of the first things you will want to do is try is the wine, which is why we love Bordeaux as there are countless vineyards to choose from! Take a three day trip to some of the most prestigious vineyards in the region and you will come back as a wine connoisseur! Whilst you are in Bordeaux why not also take a trip to the Saint Andre Cathedral where if you are lucky they will be holding one of their outstanding concerts. If after all the sight-seeing you want to treat yourself then make sure you head to the Rue Sainte Catherine where you will find dozens of stunning French boutiques. If you’re feeling generous you may even bring some presents home for your family and friends! 5 Campsites near Berlin City Camping Berlin Campingpark Sanssouci Camping Jägerbude The WohnmobilPark Berlin Campsites between Berlin and Munich Campsite Auensee (Leipzig) Knaus Campingpark (Nuremberg) Campsites near Munich Campingplatz Thalkirchen Campingplatz Strandbad Pilsensee Campsite München-Obermenzing Campingplatz Wolfratshausen Campsites near Tyrol Camping Michelnhof Alpen Camping Mark Natterer See Tirol Camp Campsites near Verona Camping Castel San Pietro Campeggio Piani di Clodia Campeggio Gasparina Area Comunale Porta Palio Campsites near Barcelona Camping Tres Estrellas Camping Masnou Vilanova Park Barcelona Motorhome Aire & Parking Campsites near Bordeaux Camping Indigo Coben Les Pins Camping La Cigale Campsite Chez Gendron Twin Lakes 6 7 8 9 10 11
