The Children's Museum of Eastern Oregon provides children of all ages with opportunities for
educational exploration and development through interactive exhibits and play.

Special Needs Family Night
March 30th April 27th May 25th
Cayuse Technology has sponsored CMEO Special Needs Family Night!
Thanks to the generous funding from Cayuse Technology we are able to open our doors to families of Special
needs for 3 hours the last Saturday of every month. The museum will dim the lights and remove noisy exhibit
pieces in order to help special needs children feel more comfortable. Admission during this time is limited to
special needs children and families.
Free for members / $1.00 for non-members
Internship Programs
We will be jumping into the fun
Monday, March 18th with a
Steak Feed Dinner & Entertainment.
The dinner will be hosted at the Knights of Pythias
Hall located at 11 SE 8th St, Pendleton, OR 97801
from 5 pm until 7 pm. Tickets are available now for
$12 each.
We will also have a mini Night @ the Children’s
Museum available from 5 pm to 8 pm allowing everyone
to enjoy the dinner. This evening will consist of Dinner
& a Movie for $12 per child and $8 per additional child.

Educational Intern
CMEO members will enjoy the educational
efforts of our 1st Education Intern for the
2013 year, Maria Pureco. Maria is a
student at Blue Mountain Community
College studying Early Childhood
Education. Maria is completing her collge
practicum requirement by analysing and
enhansing 1 exhibit area during her quarter
long internship with us. Stop by the
museum to see her completed project.
Customer Service Intern
Jackie is eager to assist all museum guests
with a warm smile and outgoing personality
as our 1st Customer Service Intern for the
2013 year.

The Open Doors program was established in 2009 to
provide low income and at risk families with the
opportunity to enjoy the educational and family
connection CMEO provides, regardless of their
financial situation.
Through the Open Doors program, Family Pass
memberships are distributed to families within the
community by several social service organizations.
CMEO does not issue Open Doors Passes directly;
please contact your worker at the following
organization(s) for more information about a referral.
