United Community Bank City of Lawrenceburg Grand Victoria Casino PFS Community Foundation Rumpke It’s been a busy summer for our Tour for the Cure® initiative! In late June, members of our Tour for the Cure® walk team participated in this year’s Relay for Life of Dearborn/Ohio County, which was held June 27 & 28 at the South Dearborn High School track in Aurora. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the event had an excellent turnout in spite of the hot and humid weather, with more than $177,000 being raised in total. In addition to our walk team, we were on hand to “Have Fun and Give Hope” with our pink tent, where visitors could learn more about Tour for the Cure® or purchase a Tour for the Cure® t-shirt. Whenever we participate in these type of events, I am always inspired by survivors’ stories and reminded of how programs like Tour for the Cure® and other fundraising initiatives are so important in spreading both awareness and hope. With that in mind, I would like to thank all of our Tour for the Cure® partners who helped make our participation in this year’s Relay for Life such a success. Thank you as well to those who generously opened both their hearts and wallets to contribute to our effort. Your support has truly made a difference.
