Justen and Lee Lou are two b-boys from Holland that we came into contact through our friends and agents, Marieke and Lenny
from Miss Bon Bon . . They blow us away every time we see them and they dance beyond their years . We caught up with Justen
and Lee Lou recently and asked him a few questions about their adventures in the world of break dancing.
M Hi Justen and Lee Lou
how are you today? Did you
do anything exciting ?
J Hi I am very good thanx! I
just won a trip to Morocco in
a battle.
L Went to a Jam in
Eindhoven to Battle with my
crew Rugged Solutions for qualifications in the UK Champs
@ IBE (International Breakdance Event)
And guess what, we rocked it and won the battle!
L I travel throughout Europe like Portugal France, Spain,
Germany etc.
M How did you learn about break dancing?
J First from watching Youtube clips and practicing what I saw
on the films. Later I got lessons at Floorburnin in Weert. Now
I train with my own crew ‘Hustlekidz’ in Tilburg
L my mom taught me how to breakdance.
M Who are your favorite break dancers of all time?
J Luigi , flea rock , hong 10, the end.
L I don’t have any because there are so many!
M Tell us a about how long you have been break dancing for
and how often do you practice ?
J I started when I was just 7 with lessons, now I train with my
crew as much as possible. I also train 1 or 2 times a week in
an indoorn playground with mats and trampolines.
And ofcourse I always breakdance around the house and
drive my mom crazy ;)
L When i was a baby my mom took me to trainings and
Jams....I was like 1,5 yrs old when I first started !!!
M What city do you live in?
J I live in Holland in a very small town close to the German
border. It’s called Siebengewald right in between ‘Nijmegen’
and ‘Venlo’
L I live in the most beautiful place of Amsterdam called
Westerpark
M How old are you?
J 10 years but it’s almost my birthday on july 15th!
L I am 10 yrs young
M How far do you have to travel for comps? Where have you
been ? Who takes you?
J We travel all over Europe, we go to battles and competitions
in England, Germany, France and also the USA! My dad
comes everywhere with me.
M What has been your best moment in your break dance
career?
J Last year we competed in Hollands got Talent and we finished
in 3rd place... that was awesome! I also won the ‘Chelles Pro’
in France this year. That’s a battle for kids from all over Europe.
I’m really proud of that!
L Winning The Dutch BBoy Championship Solo Kids in 2010
and winning Eurobattle 2011 with my crew Rugged Solutions.
M What is your favorite song at the moment ? Who is your
favorite music band?
J ooh there is so much! I love everything with a great beat. As
long as I can dance on it
L They don’t want Music by the Black eyed Peas
M When you are not practicing dancing what other things do
you like to do ?
J As a Dutch kid I ofcourse also love to play soccer with my
buddies and my brother. I also like to play games on my PSP
or Ipad.
L Playing soccer with my friends
M And finally what would you like to be when you grow up?
J I hope to become a really great dancer and be in the ‘Red Bull
BC One’ one day.
L I would like to be an Architect. And......... The Best BBoy of
all time !!!

Is a initiative that aims to help the kids in orphanages throughout Vietnam and
Cambodia. Each season, munster kids commisions an artist to do a series of
original prints for t-shirts and for every one of these styles sold, we hand on another
to the orphaned kids.
