V-8, while the X5 3.0is features the lightest 6-cylinder of its kind, which
generates 260 hp. Both engines are mated to a new, shift-by-wire, 6-speed
automatic that delivers faster shift times for crisper acceleration. The result
is 0 to 60 in just 6.4 seconds for the X5 4.8i.1
