On this Spanish adventure holiday, expect thrill-filled days full of biking and hiking with relaxing nights in boutique hotels. We will meet the group in the lobby of the hotel at 1pm and head out for a stroll through the centre of this beautiful city. Afterwards, we’ll have lunch and depart for a drive along the Mediterranean coast 4,700 ft into the mountains to the village of Capileira. We’ll take a casual walk into town and enjoy welcome drinks and mountain-cured ham before visiting a cozy local restaurant for dinner. The night is spent in a charming family-run hotel built with traditional Alpujarra materials overlooking the valley from its terraced gardens and pool. We will head out for a full afternoon walking tour of the Alhambra palaces and the Albaicín quarter (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites). way back to Granada for an evening out on the town to wrap things up in style. (B,L,D) Day 9 GR A NA DA departure We have a two hour transfer to The Málaga International Airport this morning, giving us one last look at the charming countryside of Andalucia and time to remember the many highlights of the trip. (B) In Granada we stay at a centrally located, comfortable hotel within a minutes walk of shops, bars, restaurants and the main sights of the city. It is just a short van ride to the village of Monachil where we’ll switch gears and spend the day on mountain bikes riding through some of the most beautiful scenery in rural Andalucia.
