arrival
The trip commences at the Hotel California in downtown
Málaga. We will meet the group in the lobby of the hotel
at 1pm and head out for a stroll through the centre of this
beautiful city. Afterwards, we’ll have lunch and depart for a
drive along the Mediterranean coast 4,700 ft into the mountains to the village of Capileira. We’ll take a casual walk into
town and enjoy welcome drinks and mountain-cured ham
before visiting a cozy local restaurant for dinner. The night
is spent in a charming family-run hotel built with traditional
Alpujarra materials overlooking the valley from its terraced
gardens and pool. (B,L)

From here it is just an hour’s drive to Granada, the last
