Must Be Present to Win!
Those present at the January Membership Luncheon saw the “Must
Be Present to Win” Drawing continue its climb as CarolAnne Crossan,
with A Changing Season, was not in attendance. The prize is now
up to $250 for February. Each month at the Chamber’s Membership
Luncheon, the drawing grows as long as the person whose name is
called is not in attendance. To win, all you have to do is show up and
hear your name be called! How easy is that? All Chamber members
are eligible to win, thanks to the sponsorship from First Financial
Bank, NA.

Welcome to 2016
from the Grapevine Chamber
Women’s Division!
Building on a Great 2015!
Thank you to Nancy Coplen who led us through 2015 and what a
great and successful year we had! Working alongside Nancy and our
membership, it is easy to understand why our mission statement is
“Women helping our community thrive so business can succeed.”
For the Women’s Division, February means Membership Month.
Our current membership is 80 members, and one of our goals this
year is to increase membership and increase member participation.
Our next luncheon is Tuesday, February 16, at 11:45 a.m. at The
Courtyard/TownePlace Suites by Marriott. This meeting will focus
on recruiting new members and making sure our current members
know about all of the ways we impact the community. Space is
limited; so please RSVP on the Chamber website or contact Susie
Howell at [email protected] or (817) 475-6503.
For your calendar, please add Thursday, March 24, for our
fundraiser, The Great Taste of Grapevine at The Courtyard/
TownePlace Suites by Marriott. You will receive great food from
over 25 Grapevine restaurants! There will be more details soon,
but If you would like to sponsor this event and receive some
fantastic recognition for your business in front of a large audience of
community members, please contact Toni Barron with Community
Impact News at [email protected]. She will be happy to
explain the different sponsorship levels and make suggestions on
what fits your business best.
I am confident that 2016 will be a great year for the Women’s
Division, and I am proud and excited to continue the tradition of
giving to the community with the Women’s Division. Our motto
this year is “Helping Our Community with Love and Hard Work
It’s Worth It” is very fitting. Please contact me with any questions or
how to get involved with our great group of women!
