Are you a Champion For Cures?
Every Light The Night walker is encouraged to become a Champion For
Cures by raising $100 or more to help people fighting cancer live better,
longer lives. A Champion For Cures will receive night-of-walk benefits

Early Bank Days
Early Bank Days are an opportunity for Team Captains to turn in their funds for their team
ahead of walk night—since lines at Registration will be very long! Bring in all your cash and
checks (no coins please) and we will give you your team’s: Team Banner, T-shirts, Champion
For Cures Wristbands (for those who have earned them). Dates for this year’s Bank Days are
below. Please RSVP so we can get an idea of how many supplies we should have
ready for your team!

Paper Balloon Sales Edition
A BIG Thank You to Burlington Coat Factory who continues to raise the bar in their efforts in the fight against blood cancer. To date nationally, Burlington Coat Factory (BCF)
has raised $2.1 Million!
Locally BCF Stores have raised $144,000! Additionally our Southern Florida Chapter
have consistently had 4 out of the top 10 grossing stores in the country selling our Paper
Balloons! If you haven’t done so already please visit Burlington Coat Factory and
support their efforts! Their Paper Balloon Sales Campaign ends Friday, November 25th.

Beginning on Halloween!
A Blood Cancer Awareness &
Education Campaign
Calling on your favorite vampires to join
the fight against blood cancers, Cancer
Bites is a new initiative to raise
awareness of blood cancers and highlight
what you can do to support life saving
research.

If your fundraising team raises a minimum of $10,000 you are eligible to receive a
10 x 10 Tent the night of the walk! This is a great incentive as your team will have a place
to gather and meet. Light The Night will also provide you with some additional goodies and
treats for your extraordinary fundraising efforts for LLS!

Parking for the Miami Walk is free after 5pm at One
Biscayne Tower (2 Biscayne Blvd. Miami) - You MUST
mention LLS upon leaving the garage.
Be sure to visit the Check-In Tent first if you have money to
turn in as well as pick up your Champion For Cures
wristband.

Huizenga Plaza is located on the southeast corner of Las
Olas Blvd. and Andrews Ave. 32 E. Las Olas Blvd. Ft.
Lauderdale.
Parking for the Broward Walk is available in the parking
garage directly across from the park. $1/hour.
Be sure to visit the Check-In Tent first if you have money to
