ChocoVision Corp. has further advanced our patented software-controlled Revolation X
3210 chocolate tempering system with the introduction of new software Version 6.1.
The Revolation X 3210 Version 6.1 has combined extensive field and laboratory
observation to enhance its chocolate tempering procedures.
By focusing on specific feedback-driven stress areas of version 4.8, ChocoVision created
a more reliable machine, designed to function efficiently under the most demanding of
circumstances. Among other enhancements, new to V 6.1 are:
Removal of “Heater-On-Only” Function—No longer will the display screen show
“H30” upon chocolate type selection. The heater WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHOUT
BOWL ROTATION UNTIL THE TEMPERATURE OF THE BAFFLE’S
TEMPERATURE-SENSING POBE REACHES 85° F, at which point the motor sets the
bowl into its normal rotation*. At any point in the melting/tempering process, pressing
the “Bowl Pause” button will stop the bowl’s rotation†.
Addition of Second Heat-Monitoring Thermister—internal heat-sensing probe (similar
to baffle probe) working in conjunction with the microprocessor to monitor and control
heat output levels and protect the unit from overheating, thereby protecting the chocolate
temperature at the bowl interface.
*Allowing the customer the choice of either utilizing the machine’s “Overnight Mode”
feature (keeps the chocolate melted in the bowl) until next usage, or turning the machine
off, allowing the chocolate to solidify in the bowl until next usage. As stated, when used
the next morning, the chocolate will heat-up to 85° F, at which time the bowl will rotate,
and the normal “Melt Mode” will cycle.
†In the case of heater malfunction causing the temperature of the chocolate to go below
80° F, the bowl will stop rotating to avoid damage and alert the user.
