teams who ranged from BC, California,
Saskatchewan, and Quebec.
Jamie found that her speed continued
to be a great asset as she scored many
tries, contributing to the team's
success. She also learned a great deal
about playing rugby and feels she is a far
better rugby player today for having
trained with and competed with the BC

The girls from left to right are Jody Siemens (Silver medal),
Rebecca Ells (Gold medal) and Leila Wiebe. Zone turnout was
very small this year, but it was the first ever girl’s wrestling
zone banner! In total we had 7 athletes attend the tournament,
four boys and three girls. Stephen Chartier came home with a
Silver medal and Trent Siemens came home with a Bronze.
