At the Y, campers will experience swim lessons conducted by certified life guards, arts and crafts, sports and nature. The Y’s staff is CPR/First Aid certified, fingerprinted, background checked and national sex offender registry checked. Most are in college studying some form of child development program. They have many talents and give much to the children they care for. We take every precaution to ensure the safety of our children. All campers are tracked at key points throughout the day, from the time they arrive until the time they leave. The YMCA uses detailed camp rosters and children are escorted by staff at all times.
