Travel details The Cotswolds Discoverer can be used on participating bus services at any time, on any day, Monday to Sunday. It can also be used on rail services Monday to Friday after 08.50am and anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that there are limited bus services on Sundays and Public Holidays. Please check times and services beforehand to ensure you allow sufficient time to enjoy your visit. FROM LONDON: Classic Cotswolds By train to Moreton-in-Marsh. Take Pulham’s bus number 801 to Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Stop off at both of these classic, picturesque Cotswold towns and explore their hidden delights. Return journey by bus to Moreton-in-Marsh for afternoon tea at one of the many hotels and tea rooms. Return by train to London Paddington. Walk to the source of the Thames By train to Kemble. Head for the Thames Path National Trail (from station, follow road and after about 300 yards, turn right onto public footpath) and follow to find the source of the River Thames. Continue walking to pick up the Monarch’s Way and on to Cirencester. Take bus 54A to Stroud for return journey back to London.
