Welcome to the Foam for Comfort brochure, which I hope you will find

Foam For Comfort is a family business established in 1973. My wife Maureen
and I with support from the Foam For Comfort team, pride ourselves on offering
a friendly and efficient service. Supplying only quality products that have been
tried and tested, offering superb value for money.

BEFORE
We measure and carefully cut each cushion.
An initial fitting is then done before we make
any final changes or add any extras such as the
fibre wraps shown above.
Once we are satisfied with the completed
interior we do a final fitting.

Stockinette Undercovers
Polyester fibre wraps enhance the finished appearance of your cushions,
lofting the cushion centre and softening angular lines.
Quality sewn Stockinette Undercovers
Highly recommend when replacing
loose feather or fibre filled cushion
interiors and useful in helping to
prevent the saddling of leather covers.
To obtain that ‘overstuffed’
appearance using a Polyester fibre
wrap it should used in addition to the
amount of foam or latex required to
fill your cushion cover.
Stockinette Undercovers are
designed to enable the easier fitting
of your outer covers and to reduce
friction between the outer cover
and the cushion interior, this
increases the lifespan of the outer
cover and helps prevent creasing as
it allows the cover to return easily
to its original position after use.
These covers should not be
confused with cheap nylon heat
sealed versions that are often
supplied free of charge, these
covers soon tear in use and do not
fully reduce friction between inner
cushion and outer cover.
The polyester fibre is bonded and
permanently sealed to the foam unit,
ensuring the fibre stays in place
during fitting & use.

Pew Cushions & Kneelers
Packing Foam
Ideal for most packaging applications and available in any quantity, shape or size.
Pew Cushions are manufactured from 5lb contract
grade reconstituted foam. We can supply foam only or
with the addition of stockinette undercovers, keeping
costs to a minimum for DIY projects. Alternatively we
can manufacture completed cushions (see page 18).
Kneelers are manufactured from 8lb reconstituted foam,
this product is designed to give many years of use without
losing its shape or density. Reconstituted foam will hold
and stretch tapestry designs, displaying the tapestry to its
full potential, justifying the many hours of work that goes
into the making of the unique tapestry covers.
