RESULT.. A total of 161 species, 54 genera and 15 families of hard corals have been recorded in Labuan. All of these species are illustrated in Veron (2000) Zarinah et al (2007) – 94 species Brunei Bay, Pulau Tiga 114 Markus Ruf (2010) – 390 species, 70 genera & 15 families. RESULT.. CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATIONS • Monitoring & annual surveys. • Permanent transect. • Mooring buoys are needed if tourism continues to expand.
