About the Product
The ODN1P Optical Distribution Node has been designed to deliver
interactive CATV and high-capacity DOCSIS services. The ODN1P is
IP67 rated and suitable for outdoor and indoor applications.
The ODN1P deep-fiber node solution suits the last-mile in broadband
access networks. The small and rugged design makes this unit
an ideal answer for fiber-to-the-apartment and fiber-to-the-curb
applications. Combined with robust housing and strong materials the
ODN1P is a product that you can rely on when designing long-term
HFC solutions.
The ODN1P can also be equipped with return-path transmitter
modules for various optical wavelengths, making Coarse WavelengthDivision Multiplexing (CWDM) single-fiber operations a viable solution.
Key Features and Functions
• Advanced Gallium arsenide (GaAs) RF hybrid technology

110 analog TV channels

Return Path Optical Laser Types
Laser types for ODN1P-RT, return-path transmitter module with SMS

(1) Standard option. Contact a PBN Sales Representative for availability of other
options.
(2) Measured with the PBN LTM13 laser transmitter module, a 10 km single-mode
optical fiber, with -1 dBm input,4% OMI,42 dBmV (± 1 dB) RF output at 547.25
MHz and with a 14 ± 1 dB slope from 85 to 870 MHz. In 1550 nm systems the
RF output levels are 1 dB more and the CNR performance is 1 dB better. CNR
performance for NTSC television channels with a 4 MHz RNB is an additional 1
dB better.
(3) Return-path optical transmitter is not featured on the ODN1P-0-[X]-[Y]-[Z].
(4) Measured with PBN's RPQRM receiver module, on 4 channels (11.5 MHz, 26.5
MHz, 45.5 MHz and 58.5 MHz), with an OMI of 6%. IMD2 is measured at f1 ± f2.
CNR performance for NTSC television channels with 4 MHz RNB is an additional
1 dB better.
