Stefanie Ann Fiorini - Kinley (1973 to 2010)
Stefanie Ann Fiorini - Kinley
was a 37 year old mother
of 4 who had her whole
life before her. Her passing
was sudden and a very
tragic event in the lives
of her family and friends.
Stephanie was a beautiful
and spirited woman whose
devotion to helping others,
especially children inspired
many.
Stefanie’s family and good
friends are all involved
in the team and feel that
Stefanie’s concern for
children having avenues
available to them to grow
and develop in a positive
manner would be the best
focus.

Team Steffie Foundation
In honour of Stefanie Ann Fiorini-Kinley (SAFK 73-10) “Team Steffie”
is a group of like-minded individuals who participate in fundraising
events for local community groups in her name.
The Team Steffie Foundation is an incorporated not-for-profit
organization run by volunteers from Ontario, Nova Scotia, Alberta and
in the US. Our mission is to generate funds for selected community
organizations and events through Team Steffie projects and initiatives
such as “avenues for kids’ and Velo Tremblant.
Team Steffie makes kids a priority. Team Steffie will consider supporting
all community groups, but we have a distinct interest in those
organizations that provide care and programming which directly
effect our youth.
Over the past 2 years we’ve raised over $50,000 and have participated
in events both in Canada and Internationally. Although the majority of
our activities are cycling based it is our goal to significantly increase
the number and span of events and total dollars raised for community
groups all over Canada.
We are currently seeking a limited number of corporate sponsors who
share our commitment to community and youth and will assist us in
accomplishing our mission.

In July 2011 Team Steffie announced their
latest project called “avenues for kids.” To
date, this project has focused on targeting
groups and organizations whose primary
objective is the betterment of the lives of
children in communities across Canada.
For 2013 the Team Steffie “avenues for kids”
project will be targeting regional offices for
some very popular and well
organized national organizations that we
believe meet our goal. They are:

3 Days • 500km • Woodstock to Hummarock
For the first time, Team Steffie will be embarking on a cycle tour beginning
in Woodstock, Vermont and ending in Hummarock, Massachusetts. This US
adventure will be in partnership with the Avenue for Kids Special Project, and will
raise money for the Boys and Girls Club, just as it’s sister tour Velo Tremblant does.
This additional cycle tour will help raise even more funds for the Boys and Girls
Clubs, and is proof of the growth of Team Steffie over the past 3 years.

Banff Granfondo 2013

The RBC GranFondo
Banff is the only
gran fondo in North
America to be held
completely within the
confines of a national
park. Team Steffie
will ride from start to
finish, fully-supported
in Canada’s most
beautiful national park
and experience high
altitude cycling like
never before.
1 Day • 150km • Calgary to Banff National Park
For the first time, Team Steffie will embark on a cycle tour from
Calgary Alberta, to Banff National Park, Alberta. This is a 1 day,
150km journey. In support with Avenue for Kids, Team Steffie
will raise money for children’s causes through this rigorous
journey.

For the 3rd year running, Team Steffie will be embarking on a 3 day cycle tour
from Lindsay, Ontario to Mont Tremblant, Quebec. In partnership with the
Avenue for Kids Project, Team Steffie has to date raised over $22,000 for the
Boys and Girls Club through this endeavor. Support this amazing cause, and
