Dear family, friends, and colleagues;
It has been one year since I lost my beloved friend and business partner.
One year since the days seem to be ages for all the ones he left behind.
In September of 2009, Gregory Michael Kiez was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme (“GBM”),
a Grade IV brain cancer-the most severe as classified by the
World Health Organization.
Modern medicine does not yet understand the cause of GBM. Glioblastoma multiforme tumours are highly
aggressive, and spread rapidly to nearby brain tissue. He fought this disease for 2,5 years although the majority of
the doctors had given him a lifespan of only 3 to 6 months.
Now, looking back at his fight and strength, I feel proud and thankful for the years and months he offered us.
For his memory and to revive a little his great mind,
I would like to share with you a calendar that Greg had personally prepared in his young days, in 1983 to be exact.
Our precious team and friends have remodeled this calendar for the 2013 year and
I would like to share it with you as the least I can do in these hard days, which are not getting easier.
Please consider giving generously to organisations that conduct research into, or provide support to sufferers of,
these diseases. Donation details of the organisation may be found on the back of this calendar.
