COVER TO COVER BOOK CLUB The Cover to Cover Book Club meets the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 8:00 pm. Titles alternate between fiction and non-fiction. GENEALOGY CLUB Tuesday, October 11 | 6:00 - 8:00 pm Searching for that missing relative (we know everyone has one) or trying to connect yourself to a famous person? Come the 2nd Tuesday of each month, starting in October, and work on filling in your family tree. Our Heritage Collection Staff has worked on our genealogy resources and can guide/ help you to finding your ancestors. Martha, our Heritage Collection Manager and Library Skills Trainer, will share her triumphs and frustrations with her family tree. Feel free to ask how she not only found out she’s related to a certain chocolate empire, but how she found her long lost great grandmother. We will have genealogical forms available for you and will help you learn how to use them. Meets in the Library. Indiana Ghost Trackers, Inc., is a statewide not-for-profit organization with Chapters in Indiana. They investigate paranormal activity using photography, voice recording, video and other technology that aids in the detection of unexplained phenomena. Take a picture using a book to augment or obscure part of your body or face to create the illusion that the illustration and the subject are one. Post your photos to the Nappanee Public Library Facebook page and let the community vote on a winner! September 29 4:00 - 5:00 pm Tweens * NPL is excited to introduce a new program series! The Adventure Club will educate attendees with fun and unique activities on a variety of different topics spanning from history, science and art. For every adventure attended, attendees will receive a unique key! The first Adventure Club program will be explorers. Each attendee will be given the identity of a real-life explorer throughout history. Some explorers will include Amelia Earhart, Jacques Cousteau and Edmund Hillary. All attendees will learn about the different kinds of explorers and the importance they have had on history. September Activity: Creating a treasure map using invisible ink.
