Caution: Alcohol is prohibited at all B.A.S.S. Australia Sanctioned Fishing Events Skippers must be under .05 to operate a boat at all times.
Caution: Lake Glenbawn holds very cold waters.
Caution: Be Prop Aware.
Caution: Be Alert to: Sudden weather changes and rough conditions.
Caution: Keep a proper lookout and be prepared for action.
Caution: Unmarked and submerged hazards.
Caution: Check the weather, check your boat and safety gear,
and tell someone where your going.
Caution: Overhead power cables within vicinity of launching facilities.
Caution: No towing in vicinity of launching ramp. Zone is adjusted
with lowering and rising water levels.
Caution: Boating on inland waterways require special care. Information on
boating in these areas can be found in the RMS Boating Handbook
available free of charge from the NSW Maritime Transport Service Centres.
Caution: Some of the foreshore lands around Lake Glenbawn are
privately owned and permission is required to step ashore.
Caution: Keep clear of submerged cables and barge pump.
WARNING
These waters are subject to changing water levels and unmarked navigational
hazards. Vessel operators must always maintain a proper lookout and proceed
at a safe speed, which includes checking the depth of the water.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Getting there - A 3.5 hour drive from Sydney, Lake Glenbawn State Park is 160 km north-west of Newcastle, just off the New England
Highway, and can be reached via Aberdeen or Scone. Nearest regional centre is Scone and the lake procides approximately 15 kms East
from Scone.
The lake is up to approximately 22 kilometres long and has a capacity of 749,840 million litres. When full the lake has a surface area
of 2,615 hectares.
Species - Fish species present at Lake Glenbawn are Bass, Murray Cod, Golden Perch, Silver Perch, Eel Tailed Catfish,
Brown Trout & Rainbow Trout.

Facilities include - Amenities block, bait/lures, bbqs electric, bbqs wood, boat ramp, camp kitchen, disabled access, fuel, groceries,
ice, kiosk, laundry, LP gas, picnic area, playground, public telephone, shelter shed, take-away food, tennis, and van storage.
DOGS - Dogs are allowed in Lake Glenbawn recreation park providing they remain on a lead at all times.

Fishing Licences are essential for fishing and are valid throughout NSW for both fresh and salt water fishing.
