As we began development of our new products, we found
that the candle industry had changed dramatically since
we began manufacturing candles in 1998. We researched
and conferred with manufacturers, suppliers and experts
from the industry. During this developmental process, we
worked hand in hand with their specialized knowledge and
assistance, testing for stability with our wax, scents, dyes and
wicks.

Soy/paraffin wax blend:
The soy wax is a natural,
100% vegetable by-product
that is grown on American
soil, is a renewable resource
and is environmentally safe.
This wax has a smooth and
creamy appearance, is able
to hold a high concentration
of fragrance and burns
cleaner and longer than pure paraffin wax candles.
100% Cotton Safety Wicks: Our cotton wicks do not contain
metal cores of any kind. The benefit of safety wicks is that
they will self extinguish when they reach a certain level in
the container.

Cachet Candles feature premium
ingredients including a supreme quality
soy/paraffin blended wax and 100%
cotton safety wicks. Soy waxes tend to
burn slower and cleaner than paraffin
waxes do. Our cotton wicks do not
contain any type of metal core for rigidity
and thus also tend to burn cleaner.
To maximize the performance of your
candle and to ensure best results during
each burn, these guidelines are suggested.
Enjoy!
Before lighting your candle the first time,
examine the length of the wicks. Both
wicks should be ½” in length from the
top of the candle.
If the wicks are too long, carefully trim
the wicks to ½”. Wicks that are too long
may tend to smoke. Do not cut one wick
shorter than the other. The wicks should
always be the same length during each
burn to ensure an even burn and to avoid
one wick sputtering out. Avoid trimming
the wicks too short or the candle will not
burn well.
On the initial lighting, your new candle
should be burned until a full liquid pool
or reservoir of wax has been formed
around the full circumference of the
candle.
On each subsequent burn, always burn
long enough to allow a full liquid pool of
wax to form around the entire surface of
the candle before extinguishing.
When burning your candle, use a wick
dipper to separate the wicks so they
remain the same distance apart as when
you began the initial burn. Extinguishing
your candle with a wick dipper will help
eliminate smoking while coating the wick
with a layer of wax which will enable the
candle to light easier on the next burn.
Be sure to dip the wick into the wax pool
and then lift and straighten it at the same
time.
Keep the wax pool free of wick
trimmings, matches, and any other
debris.
Keep candles away from drafts, vents,
ceiling fans, and air currents. Burn only
in well ventilated areas or rooms.
If your candle begins smoking for any
reason, extinguish the candle, allow it
to cool, trim the wicks if necessary, and
then relight.
To protect counters and surfaces, use of
a candle holder is recommended. The
holder should be placed on a stable, even,
heat resistant surface.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Although Cachet Candles include safety
wicks and will self extinguish at a certain
point, any burning candle should be kept
in sight to avoid fire hazards.
Discontinue burning your candle when
½” of wax remains at the bottom of the
jar.
Avoid placing your candle in direct
sunlight or under florescent lighting as
they may cause your candle to fade or
discolor.
Keep candles out of reach of children and
pets.
