2015 ***Handicap cabins now available*** Visit us at: www.bearpawlodge.net Email: [email protected] Call toll free: 1 888 232 7729 Welcome to Bear Paw Lodge. Located in remote North-western Ontario, Caribou Lake offers spectacular scenery, fabulous fishing, and tranquility second to none. The lake is 25 miles long and 5 miles wide with over 2800 miles of shoreline. Its west shore borders one of Canada’s largest wilderness parks, Wabakimi, which ensures that the lake will remain in its pristine condition for generations to come. We believe that this incredible fishing spot should be enjoyed by all. Therefore, we have built a new, completely wheelchair accessible cabin complete with roll-in shower and a lift to move guests from the main level down to dock level where they can roll right onto the pontoon boat. Your hosts, Joy & Darcy, invite you to join us on Caribou Lake for a week of great fishing and relaxation. For the enjoyment of all our registered guests, Bear Paw Lodge sponsors an annual fishing derby and the winners receive a free return trip the following season. Congratulations go to: Northern Pike – Steve Olmstead – 20 lb 14 oz Walleye – Charlie Schewmacher – 6 lb 4 oz Lake Trout – Al Lefkis – 7 lb 9 oz Guided Bear Hunts Our fall bear hunts consistently produce fine animals. We limit our hunt to 16 persons per season to ensure that each hunter has the best opportunity at a bear. Our success rate is very high due to the sheer size of our management unit and the number of bear in it. Each hunter has a choice on bait sites and we will help in setting up your stand and clearing shooting lanes. Our rates are $1750.00 Can. per person ($500 deposit, minimum 2 persons).
