PMG is a leading Communications Agency
specialising in Sports, Entertainment and Media.
PMG has worked in the golf industry for over 25
years, promoting tournaments on the European
tour. In 2013, PMG staged the final edition of the
Ballantine’s Championship, Korea’s largest golf
tournament, which it has promoted since its
inception in 2008. In 2012, PMG also promoted
the ADT CAPS Championship, a KLPGA event
held in Singapore. 2013 will be a busy year
for PMG, with the inaugural edition of Premier
League Golf in Singapore, and The Causeway
Trophy, a Ryder Cup style tournament between
Singapore and Malaysia.

Founded in 1987 by its Chairman, David Ciclitira
and listed on the London Stock Exchange’s
AIM since August 2001, Parallel Media Group
connects lifestyle brands to opportunities in
Asian markets.
In Entertainment
PMG created AIA K-Pop, a collaboration
between one of Asia’s biggest financial brands,
AIA and Korea’s best exports, K-pop. PMG also
owns the Blue & White Festival, promoting the
region of PyeongChang in the run up to the
2018 Winter Olympics and beyond.

PicoTV, a partnership between PMG and Pico
creates Smart Media Applications for global

Ballantine’s Championship

In 2008, PMG launched the Ballantine’s Championship, Korea’s largest Golf Tournament,
which is co-sanctioned by the European Tour, the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour.
The Ballantine’s Championship attracts some of the world’s leading golfers,
and previous star players have included Rory McIlroy, Fred Couples, Ernie Els, Adam Scott,
Lee Westwood, Dustin Johnson, YE Yang, Padraig Harrington, and KJ Choi.
The 2012 Ballantine’s Championship attracted record crowds of over 45,000
people, and preparations are underway to make the 2013 Championship the biggest yet.

ADT Caps Championship
In 2012 PMG promoted the ADT Caps Championship, the season ending finale
for the KLPGA Tour, held at the world-famous Laguna National Golf and Country Club
in Singapore.
The ADT Caps Championship represented the first time that a KLPGA-sanctioned
tournament has been staged at a destination outside Korea.

In January 2013, PMG launched the Causeway Trophy, a newly created annual golf event
played in a Ryder Cup format between professional golfers from Singapore and Malaysia.

The tournament, which is due to take place at the prestigious Laguna National Golf
and Country Club in Singapore from 7-9 June 2013, will be co-sanctioned by the
Singapore Professional Golfers’ Association (Singapore PGA) and the
Professional Golf Association of Malaysia (PGA Malaysia).

PMG has partnered with one of Asia’s biggest insurance companies, AIA, to promote
AIA K-Pop. AIA K-Pop represents AIA’s commitment to the younger generation, and the
first concert in Hong Kong on January 5th 2013 was a sell-out.
8,000 tickets were sold at the Hong Kong Expo Centre, and fans came from far and wide
to see BEAST, 4Minute and A-Pink perform.
PMG has confirmed further concerts in 2013 in Malaysia, Korea and Hong Kong.

Blue & White Festival
On March 2nd 2013, PMG launched the inaugural Blue & White Festival in
PyeongChang, South Korea. The festival was created to help promote the region
of PyeongChang in the run-up to the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The 2013 concert was headlined by jazz sensation Kyle Eastwood, who played to
an audience of jazz fans and VIP guests.

The 2013 Festival was a little taster of things to come in future years, with plans to
extend the event to six days in 2014, and continuing to expand right up to the Olympics
in 2018 and beyond.

PMG has event managed the Global Eye Program for Parallel Contemporary Art. The Global Eye Program is a partnership between
Parallel Contemporary Art and the Saatchi Gallery, and has been instrumental in the promotion of Asian contemporary art.
Korean Eye, in partnership with Standard Chartered, has been exhibited 12 times in 6 cities, the pinnacle of which was Korean Eye 2012.
Curated by Charles Saatchi, the exhibition attracted 500,000 people to the Saatchi Gallery during the 2012 London Olympics.

Pico Tv
Parallel Media Group has entered into a 50:50 Joint Venture agreement with
Pico Global Services to form Pico TV, a media company specialising in creating
digital platforms for events and exhibitions.
Pico-TV’s platform offers live and on demand video, social media interaction
(Facebook and Twitter), community forums and the ability to geo-block content,
and is perfectly suited to act as a digital enhancement to sporting events such as
golf tournaments, art exhibitions and motor shows.

Korean Eye was the first PCA initiative, launching in 2009,
and has had 4 exhibitions shown 10 times internationally.
It has been viewed by over 1 million people.
The largest exhibition to date was Korean Eye: 2012
at the Saatchi Gallery, which coincided with the Olympic
& Paralympic Games.

Following on the success of the Korean Eye initiative,
Indonesian Eye was conceived in 2011. Attracting over
170,000 visitors, the show was the UK’s first major
exhibition of Indonesian Contemporary Art. The third and
most recent initiative has been Hong Kong Eye, established
in 2012. Opening at the Saatchi Gallery in December for a
six-week period, the exhibition featuring 30 works and
attracted 196,000 people. The exhibition had a
much-celebrated return home to Hong Kong in May 2013,
taking place at ArtisTree gallery.
