Breakfast on the farm filled with pancakes and people

The Wright County Breakfast on the Farm was a hit once again.
The event took place June 18 at Goldview Farms, in Waverly.
Breakfast on the Farm provides the opportunity to explore a
working dairy farm, learn about what it takes to bring dairy products from the farm to the store shelf, and eat some breakfast, too.
Goldview Farms is owned by the Bakeberg family: Greg; his
wife, Faye; and their son, Pat. The farm is a fifth-generation dairy
farm, homesteaded in 1873.
Goldview Farms milks 120 Holstein, Jersey, and Ayrshire cows.
They also have 50 steers, and farm 700 acres of land.
The day included many family-friendly events and attractions,
such as booths featuring a veterinarian and an animal nutritionist, plenty of tractors to climb up and sit on, animals to see, and
live music, all in addition to a pancake
breakfast.

Kyla Mauk, of Howard Lake, was
there greeting guests.
Along with the breakfast, there
were free samples of ice cream and
cheese, as well as a booth with free
chocolate and regular milk.
