Individual visitors
The Universum® is located directly adjacent to the A27 Bremen/Bremerhaven. At Bremer Kreuz motorway junction take
the A27 direction Bremerhaven. Come off at the turn off
„
Universität“.
Coaches can stop in front of the Universum® building to drop
off and pick up passengers. There is parking for cars in the
immediate vicinity. Tram no. 6 brings you to the Universum®
from the central station in just 15 minutes
(Direction: “Universität”, tram stop: “Universität/NW1”).

OUR SHOWS
Embark on an exciting discovery tour through the world of
science at the Universum® Bremen! Here you can experience
scientific phenomena for yourself live, perceive them with all
your senses and understand them. The three topic areas of
Technology, Humans and Nature are waiting to be explored.
Use analogue objects to make digital music, feel your way
through the darkness in the tactile gallery and visualize the
interplay of data from all over the world on the giant globe.
In addition, take a peek at the latest research findings!
There is also a specially designed research and discovery
area for small visitors aged between 3 and 8. Let your curiosity run wild!
In addition to the comprehensive permanent exhibition, the
Universum® regularly hosts temporary special exhibitions.

Clear the stage for our science shows! Fall under the spell
of our amazing experiments. Our members of staff demonstrate wondrous phenomena, explaining them with wit
and charm. Come on, join in!
OUTDOORS AREA
EVENTS
You can even explore outdoors at the Universum ! There are
a whole range of exciting experiments with water to try in
the outdoors area. The Tower of Winds is 27 metres tall and
gives a brilliant view of the city as well as further surprising
exhibits.
