OF 7 ! Visit our Ranges and bring some Family & Friends Range Rules Due to some recent questions by members, perhaps it is time for a reminder regarding range use at the club. First, be aware that general rules are posted at each range by signage. Read the signs and follow the directions. Also, all shooters are to sign in and out at both pistol ranges as well as the 50 and 100-200 yard ranges. There are additional regulations posted in the sign in books at each of these ranges. One particular rule to be aware of is that all shooting is to be done from established firing lines. Do Not set up in the road, parking lot, or any other location. The objective is to shoot safely and make the ranges available to all members. Random shooting positions do not contribute to those goals. It should also be noted that guests must be supervised by an active member at all times. Some events are supervised by volunteer members, such as trap and skeet, the egg and dot shoots, youth silhouette, ladies shoot, classes, etc. All other use of the ranges must be directly supervised by the member bringing the guest. Do not loan your card or share the combination with anyone. Always be ready to pleasantly show your current membership card and photo I.D. to anyone asking. Remember that failure to comply with club rules can result in losing your membership. The Fin & Feather Club financially sponsored 8 campers this year. Also, yours truly wanted an adventure so I was employed as the CAMP NURSE. I was able to witness first-hand that all 8 of our campers enjoyed themselves. Being there also gave me the opportunity to evaluate the camp and its programs. I wholeheartedly endorse this camp, not just as a F&F member but as someone who has a degree in Outdoor & Environmental Recreation. All 8 of our campers received their Hunters Safety Certificate! They also experienced fishing, archery, the .22 rifle range, basic survival skills, canoeing and/or kayaking, and numerous mosquito bites. Participating were: Hunter White, Corbin White, Jillian McGovern, Allison McGovern, Mason Marrison, Austin Nickelson, Stephen Mathewson & Tara McGrath. Information for next year’s camp will be available in March 2016. MUCC Camp Nurse: Michelle Hemmer Trading Post: We are starting fresh.
