Arrive to tea served in your room, then enjoy
mince pies, mulled wine and carols from the
Boy’s and Men’s Choir of St Mary’s, Warwick
from 5.30pm in the Knights Suite, followed

A full English breakfast will set you up for all
the present opening. The rest of the day will
be spent eating, drinking and relaxing with a
glass of Champagne prior to a four course
Christmas Day lunch, then later a light
evening buffet supper.
Boxing Day

The revelry begins with a drinks reception,

Sign up for the golf tournament or join us for a guided
walk before brunch. Our much loved ferret racing
is a firm favourite, as is our ‘nearest the pin’ golf
competition, served with hot chocolate and mulled wine
on the south terrace. Afternoon tea will also be served
in the Cathedral Room.
Your evening will begin with welcome
drinks and a candlelit dinner, followed
by the opportunity to attend Midnight
Mass at the local church.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the
Queen’s speech, so listen to her sum up the
year with sherry and mince pies, followed by
a buffet in the Great Western Restaurant.
Arrive for lunch and then get in the
Christmas spirit with a host of festive
activities. We have a Christmas country
fair, cider & sloe gin making in the Long
Barn and Bovey Rangers activities and
our playroom for the little ones.
After breakfast the excitement mounts as
Father Christmas arrives at Bovey Castle.
In the morning take part in our exciting
scavenger hunt then enjoy some fresh air
and beautiful scenery with a guided walk to
the local pub.
Once the children are tucked up in bed, sit
and listen to the storyteller weave some
tales in front of the fire with a nightcap to sip
before bed.
Boxing Day at Bovey is packed with activities. Take part
in them all, or just relax in the privacy of your room or
settle in the spa.
Our storyteller will keep the children entertained, followed
by high tea and a festive movie. Finish up your day with
a five course dinner and entertainment in the Great
Western Restaurant. Bovey Ranger activities and our
playroom are also available all day for the little ones.

Terms and Conditions
To secure all Christmas and New Year bookings a confirmation of your booking is required in writing,
together with a 50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation, with the remaining balance to be received
by 1st November 2015.
Private Parties and Events
Two weeks prior to the event we request guaranteed final guest numbers and the table plan. Should the
number of guests be less than expected on the day of the event, the guaranteed number of guests will be
charged for. Any increases to the number of guests on the day will be charged accordingly.
The deposit will be deducted from the final account. Receipt of the deposit constitutes a binding contract
between the hotel and client. All additional sundries will need to be settled on departure. Unless otherwise
stated, wines and beverages will be charged accordingly.
Cancellation Policy
In an event of cancellation, the following charges will be made:
Cancellation of a confirmed booking - loss of deposit in full.
Cancellation with less than 2 months notice - 50% of total charge.
Cancellation with less than 1 months notice - 75% of total charge.
Cancellation with less than 14 days notice - 100% of total charge.
Accommodation will be available to guests from 2:00 pm and is to be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of
departure.
We recommend that travel insurance is taken to cover possible cancellations.
