“Morrigan” earrings

“Morrigan” earrings
Make these fast and fabulous earring, using brand new Matubo Miniduo beads
Material (for one pair of earrings):
Matubo Miniduo (48 pcs)
Matubo Superduo (16 pcs)
Matubo 8/0 (40 pcs)
15/0 Japanese seed beads (approx. 1 gram)
4mm firepolished beads (32 pcs)
Jump rings
Earwires

4) Repeat step 3 ...
1) String eight Miniduos and slide them to the end of the thread.
2) Tie a square knot to form a circle, then pass through the upper hole of the nearest Miniduo.
3) Add one Superduo and then pass through the upper hole of the next Miniduo.

5) ... until you reach the end of the row. At the end of the row add one last Superduo, pass through the upper hole of the last Miniduo and then through the lower hole of the first Superduo ...
6) ... and to complete the step­up, pass back through the upper hole of the same Superduo.
7) Add one 4mm FP and then pass through the upper hole of the next Superduo.
8) Repeat steps 7 ...
9) ... until you reach the end of the row. At the end of the row add one last 4mm FP and then pass through the upper hole of the last Superduo and then through the first 4mm FP.
12) ... until you reach the end of the row. At the end of the row add the last pair of Miniduos and then pass through the last 4mm FP and then through the lower hole of the first Miniduo ... 13) ... and to finish the step­
up, pass back through the upper hole of the same Miniduo.
10) Add two Miniduos and then pass through the next 4mm FP.
14) Add one 4mm FP and pass through the upper hole of the next Miniduo.
11) Repeat step 10 ...
15) Add one 8/0 and then pass through the upper hole of the next Miniduo.

16) Repeat step 14 ...
20) Add two 15/0s and then pass through the next 4mm FP.
17) ... and step 15 ...
21) Repeat steps 19 and 20 until you reach the end of the row. At the end of the row add the last pair of 15/0s and then pass through the next 4mm FP ...
18) ... until you reach the end of the row. At the end of the row add one last 8/0 and then pass through the upper hole of the next Miniduo and then through the first 4mm FP.
19) Add two 15/0s and then pass through the next 8/0.

22) ... and to finish the step­
up, pass through the first pair of 15/0s.
23) Add three 8/0s and then pass through the next pair of 15/0s ...
28) ... and the next pair of 15/0s.
24) ... and through the next 4mm FP.
29) Repeat steps 23 ­ 28 until you reach the end of the row.
25) Add nine 15/0s and then pass through the lower hole of the nearest Superduo (as shown in the photo).
30) Optionally you can weave through the last row one more time ­ but always skip the middle 8/0 in each corner.
26) Add four 15/0s and then pass back through the “middle” bead of the nine 15/0s you added in the previous step.
27) Add another four 15/0s and then pass through the next 4mm FP ...

31) Tie a few half­hitch knots and cut off all the remaining thread. Use a jump ring to attach an earwire ...
32) ... and maybe add a small chain tassel, a drop­
shaped bead or another embellishment. Or you can create more of these components and use jump rings to connect them into a bracelet or a necklace.
