LETTER
FROM
THE CEO
M
iami FC Supporters,
As Miami FC’s CEO, I want to
thank each one of you for your
loyalty and support in attending tonight’s match during the
inaugural season of Miami’s only
professional soccer team. We are
the ever-growing heartbeat of
passionate fans in the Magic City. We are a Club
for the community, by the community. Miami is
a futbol town, and we are its Futbol Club – YOUR
Miami FC!
We are committed to delivering unforgettable moments packed with world-class soccer;
unique match day experiences and unprecedented access to our global roster coached by
international soccer legend, Alessandro Nesta.
The squad continues to generate successful
results on the field, returning from Puerto Rico
with three points following a dominant performance against the fellow league newcomers.
The Club then travelled to Edmonton to face the
Eddys in a crucial match. Tonight, the Carolina
RailHawks visit FIU for the first time and we are
looking for you, our fans, to provide that 12th
man advantage as we chase another three points
in our climb up the table.
Tonight is also Mexican Heritage Night in celebration of Mexico’s Independence. In addition,
we are recognizing our local First Responders
with a special honor guard of Miami-Dade’s
Bravest and Finest. I hope you were able to
enjoy the commemorative Mexican Heritage
T-shirts, and visited the massive #DADEBRIGADE tailgate party outside Gate 5 in Tamiani
Park. The tailgate has become a weekly tradition where fans and supporters can gather to
celebrate the club, the beautiful game and each
other.
You the fans are the lifeblood of our organization
and we look forward to a
long and lasting relationship. As CEO, feedback
is very important to our
future success. You can
reach me on Twitter (@
CEOMiamiFC), Facebook
(CEOMiamiFC) or directly via email at CEO@
MiamiFC.com. We always
welcome your thoughts
on improvements, or any
way we can enhance your
experience.
Thank you for your
tremendous support!

HAT A SEASON IT HAS BEEN. FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE TABLE TO FIGHTING FOR A PLAYOFF SPOT, THIS TEAM HAS DONE EVERYTHING
I HAVE ASKED.
THE FALL SEASON HAS BEEN GOOD TO US, AS WE HAVE PLAYED WELL ON OFFENSE
AND DEFENSE. ALL THE NEW PLAYERS HAVE GELLED UNBELIEVABLY WELL WITH
OUR CORE PLAYERS TO FORM A GREAT TEAM.
WHAT HAS BEEN MOST IMPRESSIVE IS OUR FORM ON THE ROAD DURING THE FALL. THERE
HAS NOT BEEN A DAY IN WHICH WE WERE OUTMATCHED AND THIS RESILIENCE ON THE
ROAD IS WHY WE’RE PRIMED TO PUSH FOR A SPOT IN THE PLAYOFFS.
TONIGHT, WE CLOSE OUT A GREAT
SEASON SERIES AGAINST THE CAROLINA
RAILHAWKS.
WE WERE IN THE MIDST OF A FOUR-MATCH LOSING STREAK WHEN
WE FIRST FACED THE RAILHAWKS BACK IN THE SPRING. THE MATCH
ENDED IN A 0-0 DRAW, MARKING THE CLUB’S FIRST CLEAN
SHEET AND THE START OF OUR TURNAROUND.
We faced off again early in the Fall Season. It was a thrilling
match that saw six total goals. The boys came out fast
and took an early 2-0 lead, going into halftime up 2-1. The
RailHawks came back and take a 3-2 lead late in the match.
Jaime Chávez was the hero on the night, scoring a late goal
to end the match 3-3.
AS WE CONTINUE TO CLIMB THE TABLE WITH OUR EYE ON
THE FALL SEASON TITLE AND A DEEP RUN IN THE PLAYOFFS,
WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER. BE LOUD TONIGHT AS WE
LOOK TO TAKE ON ONE OF THE NASL’S MOST DANGEROUS
OFFENSES!!!
NESTA’s NOTE
AS ALWAYS,THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT TO SUPPORT US.
FORZA MIAMI!!!

The Mexican spice is red hot in the lineup for the Miami FC. Jaime
Chávez and Gabriel Farfán, both of Mexican decent, are two crucial
players in the unstoppable rise of the Miami FC. One of the first players
to signed by the Club, Chávez, has made an impact on the field and has
a NASL Player of the Week nod. On the flipside, with just a few short
months on the team, Farfán has already made a difference on the left
flank, boosting the Miami FC defense to one of the top in the league.
Tonight is a meaningful night for both Chávez and Farfán, who plan
to showcase their talents and experience on the pitch for all to watch.

OP FIVE. The Miami FC
continues its climbing push
through the standings with
an amazing win over Puerto Rico FC
in Week 10. As the NASL Fall Season
approaches its final stretch, tonight
the Orange and Blue return home after
last Sunday’s match in Edmonton, to
host the Carolina RailHawks in their
final matchup.
As the Miami FC has maintained its top
five position in the fall standings for
over a month, the Carolina RailHawks
follow behind. Miami and Carolina
have faced off twice this season
with both matches being played at
WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
The first match ended in a 0-0 draw,
ending a four-match losing streak for
the Miami FC. The second was a heartstopper, where both teams scored
three goals.
MATCH PREVIEW
A DAY IN PARADISE. The Miami FC
put in one of their best performances
of the season, winning out 3-0 against
Puerto Rico FC in the All-Star Island.
The Orange and Blue controlled the
match throughout, and with constant
pressure and precise passing, the
team had complete possession for the
entirety of the match.
Within the first few minutes, Jonny
Steele scored the opening goal of the
match off a volley thanks to a perfect
cross from captain Jonathan Borrajo.
This goal marked the fifth tally for
Miami in the opening 15 minutes of
matches in 2016, as Borrajo notched
his fifth assist and Steele his second
goal of the season. Dario Cvitanich
tallied his seventh goal of the year
scoring the second goal of the match,
as Rhett Bernstein ventured forward
from his center back position to deliver
a perfect lead pass to Cvitanich.

Likewise, Poku closed out the night
with his fifth goal of 2016, as Michael
Lahoud found himself delivering
a precise pass to his on-rushing
teammate. Poku collected the pass and
beat the keeper near post to secure the
Miami FC’s 3-0 win.

IT’S ALL UPHILL FROM HERE.
The Miami FC has been a revelation in
the Fall Season after struggling in its
first-ever Spring Season. The progress
can be seen in every aspect of the
game, as the Orange and Blue now
find themselves in contention of the
playoffs.
During the Spring Season, the club
ranked near the bottom of the league
in goals scored and allowed, leading to
a 1-4-5 record. Now in the Fall Season,
the Miami FC boasts a top-ranked
offense and defense. Through 11
matches, Miami’s only pro soccer club
has scored 19 goals, tied for second
in the Fall Season. The Miami FC has
allowed only 12 goals in the fall, which
is also tied for the second-best mark in
the NASL.

The Miami FC has supported its
recent goal scoring streak with a stout
defense. The club’s newest tactics
have been remarkably effective, but it
is only going to be more demanding in
the upcoming final stretch of the Fall
Season. Sitting in fifth place with two
games in hand on the majority of the
top five, the Miami FC is ready for a
strong run to close out the Fall Season
and reach the Championship.

Tonight is the third and final game between your
Orange and Blue and the Carolina RailHawks this
season. These two teams have already played to two
draws. Back in May, it was a scoreless tie here at FIU
Stadium. In July, we went on the road and in a wild
affair, both teams scored three times.
THROUGH MIAMI’S FIRST ELEVEN GAMES
OF THE FALL SEASON WE HAVE BEEN
“EN FUEGO!” DESPITE INJURIES
TO PERSONNEL, WE HAVE BEEN SCORING
SPECTACULAR GOALS AND GETTING
OUTSTANDING GOALKEEPING FROM
DANIEL VEGA!
THROUGH THOSE FIRST ELEVEN GAMES,
INSIDE THE BOOTH
WE EARNED POINTS IN NINE OF OUR GAMES
AND SEVEN DIFFERENT OB’s SCORED!
POKU NETTED FIVE, DARIO CVITANICH HAS HAD FOUR INCLUDING
TWO FROM THE SPOT, JAIME CHÁVEZ RECORDED THE FIRST BRACE IN
FRANCHISE HISTORY AND HAS ADDED ANOTHER AND ARIEL MARTINEZ
HAS SCORED THREE AS WELL. AARON DENNIS AND PABLO
CAMPOS EACH SCORED ONCE IN THAT STRETCH.
