Welcome to the Kings Point Theatre! We are proud to announce this season’s incredible shows, which include comedians, revues, singing, tributes and musical groups. Many performers such as Shirley Austin Reeves, Mary Wilson from the Supremes, Motown in Motion, Bronx Wanderers, Tokens and Tony Orlando just to name a few will be making their Kings Point debut. This season has so many talented performers that you will think you are in Las Vegas. This will be a fantastic season! He also has an incredible ability to interact with any audience. He has performed throughout the US, Far East, and Caribbean. After receiving two Special Services Outstanding Performances Awards while touring in the Armed Forces, Ronnie’s distinctive act became well-known in the Catskill resorts and among the cruise ships, hotels, and private mega yachts of the Caribbean. Since 1999 Ronnie has been wowing South Florida audiences. Comments range from “very funny,” “refreshing,” “great timing,” to “the funniest I’ve seen in a long time,” and “memorable.” You will adore him and be yelling for more. This is comedy at its best! Friday, November 8th, 8:00 PM Warren Schein is a talented comedian and singer. He has produced a one-man show, “From the Borscht Belt to Broadway”. This show combines an upbeat and wide selection from the Great American Songbook, along with favorite standards, Broadway musical favorites and a fitting tribute to entertainer extraordinaire, Al Jolson. Added to this musical retrospective is a schtick of some of the greatest comedy routines from the heyday of the Catskill Hotel circuit. GWEN JOHNSON TK BLU REVUE K. P. Gwen Johnson, a great original performer, will easily remind you of Pearl Bailey. She is a seasoned professional and has performed in many clubs and cruise ships; her travels have taken her throughout the US. In addition, she has done a series of recordings targeted to appeal to the mature R&B audience. From uplifting ballads, to jazz, to rhythm and blues and everything in between, Gwen represents the best of all worlds! Friday, November 22nd, 8:00 PM NOVEMBER Friday, November 15th, 8:00 PM TK Blu Revue is a classic R&B/Blues/ Jazz concert/Pop show band. Their music goes from Jump Blues to Motown to Soul and to the great Jazz songbook classics. Musical director and producer, Tony Kessler has worked in the music industry for more than three decades. From Carnegie Hall to the Copacabana, Tony has worked with entertainment icons such as Sid Caesar, Joel Grey, Red Buttons, Florence Henderson and many more. In fact, award winning Melba Moore was so impressed with Tony, she asked him to produce her one-woman musical, “I Got Love”. This is a must see show! From the onset, Daniel was a standout. In Peru he performed as a soloist with internationally acclaimed Argentine composer, Mariano Mores and his orchestra; in Miami he was cast as the soloist for the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert at the Jackie Gleason Theatre. Daniel Bouchet is a spectacular showman with a seductive smile and a dynamic stage presence, captivating his audiences with a powerful voice and an array of international musical rhythms, sung splendidly in various languages. They have added additional artists and are branching out into many other genres of music. This high-energy revue has something for everyone. Motown has always been the main influence for the group, but now their performances include DooWop, Disco, Pop and even a touch of Latin. For the past eight seasons they have been featured at the historical Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. Come enjoy a night of Motown at its best! Tom Cotter is an American stand-up comedian from Providence, Rhode Island, who is best known for being the runner-up of the seventh season of America’s Got Talent. He has worked in film, theatre, television and was featured in his own “Comedy Central”. Since moving to NYC, he has appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was voted Best Stand-Up at the Las Vegas Comedy Central. Remember laughter is the best medicine, so be prepared to be heavily medicated. Sunday, January 5th, 8:00 PM Re-live the memorable sound of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons along with favorite songs of the 60’s. “Oh What A Night”, “Rag Doll”, “Sherry” and many other Valli hits, along with a host of other classics such as “Lollipop”, “Can’t Hurry Love”, & “Down Town” will have you dancing. Great harmonies, lively choreography and some of the greatest songs of the era will make this show a must see event! Wednesday, January 8th, 8:00 PM The Shirelles, you may remember! Legendary lady Shirley Alston Reeves, you will never forget!! Ms. Reeves is the cofounder of the Shirelles. The Shirelles with Shirley Alston Reeves as lead singer were discovered and recorded after performing in an auditorium program. The first single release, “I Met Him on a Sunday” penned by the Shirelles collectively was an instant success! Ms. Reeves also co-starred in the Rock n Roll film with the Shirelles, “Let the Good Times Roll”, Tonight’s the Night”, “Baby it’s You”, “This Is Dedicated to the One I Love” are all time Shirelles favorites. The greatest hit song enjoyed by the group is “Soldier Boy”. This particular song touched so many lives and hearts. Shirley Alston Reeves is loved by all who have had the pleasure of meeting her and hearing her golden voice. Her show is designed to please even the toughest musical appetites!!! The Atlantic City Boys are four dynamic lead vocalists who have performed in New York, Las Vegas and of course, Atlantic City. The boys got together in 2008 to create a 15-minute tribute to Frankie Valli for a Broadway review. Many standing ovations later, they soon became headliners of their own 90-minute show. As well as singing the hits of the Four Seasons, the Atlantic City Boys enjoy singing the harmonies from guy groups of the 50’s and 60’s like the Beach Boys, The Monkees and even sing Neil Diamond songs. Nothing is more difficult to achieve than a long term career in the record business by being funny, but The Coasters have been justly labeled, “The Clown Princes of Rock and Roll.” For over 50 years The Coasters are still going strong with the same style and quality of the original group. Since 1958 they’ve had hit after hit with “Yakety Yak,” “Charlie Brown,” “Poison Ivy” and “Love Potion Number 9” just to name a few. Since the group began Jay’s trademark falsetto has characterized all The Tokens music. You’ll be tapping your toes and singing along to “La Bamba,” “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” “Portrait of My Love” and many more songs from these talented artists. CHRIS MacDONALD’S MEMORIES OF ELVIS Sunday, March 2nd, 8:00 PM K. P.
