Hand-drums are seen in parks, schools, friend’s houses, drum circles, & on stage, & the West African djembe
is the most popular. Learn the language of the drum, how to feel the pulse, find your place in the beat,
play rhythm patterns, & enjoy group polyrhythm music. Great for totally raw beginners, drum circle enthusiasts
seeking proper hand-technique & instruction, & those with some experience wanting to strengthen their
foundation. Relaxing, energizing, fun, & supportive community atmosphere!
No experience needed! Welcome all adults & motivated teens (youth with instructor permission).
Learn how easy it is to create a successful percussion ensemble, & a joyful noise together!
Join Jeff Hanna & Barbara Gail, coming to us from The Rhythm Inlet in Nokomis, for hands-on fun!
