As part of the Y’s commitment to giving back and supporting our neighbors, Togetherhood invites Y members to identify and lead service projects that make meaningful change in their communities. Guided by a Y staff advisor, Togetherhood organizes committees of members who bring their passion, ideas and skills for helping others. The committee then plans simple, fun and rewarding ways for other members to get together and improve their communities. In 2014, over 140 Y branches successfully implemented the program. In 2015, the program will be open to all Ys that would like to participate.
