Gary Dean Philbrick
Gary Dean Philbrick was the husband of Diane
Ruest Philbrick for 30 years and a respected
member of the Cape Cod golf community and
a PGA Professional for nearly three decades.
He worked tirelessly on behalf of his fellow
professionals, charitable organizations, and
the golf community at large.
Gary received many awards, most notably, the
Bill Strausbaugh Club Relations Award by the
NEPGA, and the Cape Cod PGA Professional of
the Year twice.
With the hope of keeping the memory of Gary
alive, Diane Philbrick & children, Lindsay, Ian
& Tracy, along with Gary’s brothers, Richard,
David, Jeffrey & Mark are joining with the
Cape Cod PGA in presenting this event with
an endowed scholarship fund created from
the proceeds.
Connor Megan (Clemson University)
received the 2013 Gary Philbrick
Memorial Scholarship.
Ryan Keim (Flagler College)
is the 2014 award recipient.
