Attached is a list of the surplus equipment that I spoke with you about on Friday. These are
pieces of equipment and vehicles that we have replaced with recent capital purchases and
lease programs. I would like to have the Commission declare these surplus. We would then
place them on an online auction site to see if we can dispose of them at a fair price. If we do
not achieve what we feel is an accurate value, we would then wait until the next county
auction.

RESOLUTION # 2010 -

WHEREAS, Bulloch County owns and holds good title to the vehicles,
equipment, and other personal property listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
(hereinafter collectively referred to as "the property"); and
WHEREAS, the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners finds that the property
listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto cannot be beneficially or advantageously used by
the County under all circumstances;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Bulloch County Board of
Commissioners that the property listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto is hereby declared
to be unserviceable property and the County Manager or his designee is hereby
authorized to sell said property for the most advantageous price obtainable.
SO BE IT RESOLVED this 19th day of October, 2010.
